Frustrations with typing to Google Assistant

I'm sure I'm not alone in that I prefer to type reminders or commands to Google Assistant instead of using my voice under many circumstances. However, the typing interface is cumbersome and doesn't even correct spelling like Gboard normally does. The suggestions are oddly unhelpful too.

I wonder if Google has done this deliberately to encourage using voice to improve voice recognition for the AI. Does anyone else find typing to Assistant annoying?...

My view on wireless.

Since Samsung is killing the jack I would like to share my views on the wireless lifestyle.

My main issue is the wireless part of wireless headphones, sure they don't get caught on doorknobs but now I have to carry something else in my pocket. The case is heavier than the wire, the latency is noticable, and it puts more strain on the battery.

When I get home that's where I want a headphone jack for my wired headphones, I don't need the inconvenience of carrying around a case and I want to cha...

Yes, finally!! Thank you Google! Android Q Beta features I just found

I got the invite to Android Q Beta and found that you can now manually change the notification sound for any app even if the app itself doesn't have an option to change it. If you go to the App Info like normal to clear app data or cache or to change permissions, theres now an advanced option that lets you change the sound and a few more things. Its buried pretty deep IMO but glad its there none the less.

You can also now properly add new sounds to your sound choices instead of the sound pick...
