[QUESTION] Does Google make money out of other companies that uses their own edited Android OS'es? And why do they keep google apps intact?
Hello there, As far as I know AOSP is open source and can be used by anyone. So the other phone manufacturers use that to make their own androids which afaik should be free due to gnu license did I got this part correct?
So if that's true google makes literally nothing out of the companies using android unless they use other front end applications (like play store, chrome and other google made applications). So why do they use those? I mean play store is fair enough of an answer but do they ju...
