How often do you upgrade your phone, and why?

I always upgrade my phone once a year.

I love tech, and I always love to have the best thing my budget can afford. I've had these flagships on the past few years: iPhone 3GS, 4, 5, 5S, 6, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 6P, Mate 10, LG G3, Note 2, Galaxy S8, Galaxy S10+ (returned it, slow fingerprint scanner), Mate 20 Pro (returned it for the green screen), iPhone 11 and X (returned it because iOS is not for me \[no comma on the keybord, can't accept alarms like Android, can't double tap and drag/...

Will you buy a Samsung Galaxy S5 or LG G2 with updated internals?

Same story like the iPhone SE, Samsung and LG decides to reuse the chassis of their older phones.

* It will have a high end Snapdragon 8xx or 7xx series
* Smaller form factor
* Headphone jack
* Removable battery 4000mAh
* Slightly updated camera
* Microsd card slot / Hybrid dual sim works for me
* Base ram and storage should be 6GB/128GB
* Unlockable bootloader

* No water resistance
* No wireless charging
* 60hz frame rate
* 1080p only but it is OLED/AMOLED...

Do you think we will see 8” (non-folding) phones?

A year or two ago anything larger than 7 inches sounded improbable, now Note 20 and others are approaching or passing the 7” mark... How long until we start seeing 8” flagships?...

Long Term S20 Ultra (Snapdragon) Impressions: Great Phone, still a finicky camera.

edit: oh god its only been a month? Time does flow differently these days :)

Was gonna do a write up on this earlier but alas things have been hectic! So originally I wasn't s.planning on buying the s20 line because of the pricing was getting a bit ridiculous even for me that loves to switch up phones, but there was a compelling buy 2 get a $900 debit card promo at costco, so I did end up getting both a s20 ultra and s20+. Had the hardest time deciding on which to keep. s20+ is mostly definite...

[Unpopular opinion] If a company does what apple does.

The Iphone SE is literally an iPhone 8 clone with better SOC,WiFi and 1gb ram. Basically a reuse of old design sketches and supplies with a significant price cut in manufacturing cost. I don't get what the fuss I all about. Don't get me wrong it's a good deal for apple fans anyone trying to get into apple ecosystem.

What I don't get is, Imagine Samsung rebranding the s7 edge
with a better chip or Google with the pixel/ nexus rebrand. media and consumers would have an outrage saying no innov...

Apple’s new iPhone SE 2 is the nail in the coffin of the small smartphone

As per the verge, It’s been a bad year for small phone lovers. It’s no secret that the average size of new smartphones has increased dramatically over the past few years. But this year it feels like the idea of a small phone you’d actually want to use as a primary device is truly dead and gone.

Apple announced the second-generation iPhone SE, which is basically an iPhone 8 with the processor of the iPhone 11. It officially replaces the first iPhone SE, which Apple released in 2016 and stopped s...
