Question: Does expandable storage still matter to you?

What would you do if every flagship phone decided to quit supporting expandable storage? Would you be outraged and protest? Would you quit upgrading your phone? Or would you just not care and move on?

I ask this question because [I made a post](https://www.reddit.com/r/GooglePixel/comments/gmuwvi/why_are_people_choosing_other_phones_instead_of/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x) in r/GooglePixel asking about why other phones outsell the Google Pixel. I implied that expandable storage offered on...

Video feed API? Will it ever happen?

Title says it.
I love android but the one thing that has always killed me was the lack of camera support in third party apps.

I understand that there are thousands of devices out there and the easiest way for devs is to use the record viewfinder method but wouldn't it be possible for Google to implement a mandatory camera API for a newer revision of Android and force companies to use the same programming language in order to lock things down and get them more streamlined?

New Slack design is hands down the best design for mobile APP

It's a design that every other developer should follow and try to implement in their apps....

Small premium Android phones - a dying breed?

I suppose this topic has come up here and there within various subreddits and threads in the past but - why is it that small sized premium android phone models are so few and far between?

I'm sure there are more of us who would like to see/buy such models.

For me, I think the most important aspects then are full screen (utilize that small formfactor to the max) and as good battery life as is possible. Camera decent, nothing exotic necessary. What about you?

Any good existing altern...

What small feature did you not realize you'd miss until you upgraded?

I just recently went from a Pixel 3 to a Galaxy A71.

I had *no idea* how much I'd miss squeeze-to-activate-assistant. I find myself attempting to do it multiple times a day, and when it doesn't work, I get a little bummed out. It was such a ridiculously useful, albeit entirely inconsequential feature.

Likewise, I never knew how much I'd miss an IR blaster when I went from my HTC One M8 to a Nexus 6P. I didn't use it often, but I found that any time I could have used it I was missing it. And i...
