Lost my phone on a snowmobile trail 3 months ago, still works!

As the noscript says, a few months ago my phone, a sony xperia 1 ii, fell out of my pocket on a snowmobile trail. I found the general location of it using google but could never find it under all of the snow. A couple days ago I found it, buried in the sand still working. OLED displays have made the used phone market much worse

Not as much a rant as an observation. Ive been shopping for a used last gen phone to replace my current device, which I bought used a few years back. I prefer buying used phones since I don't need bleeding edge tech and I don't usually have much to spend on a new phone.

As I'm browsing sites for a used phone, I've noticed that nearly every used last gen flagship and midtier phone has moderate to severe screen burn-in. Of course, not every last gen OLED screen was bad and not all last gen device...

Samsung Smart Lock Solution (Location)

Hopefully this can help many. I've had issues with Smart Lock for years when it came to trusted locations. I went looking for optimized system apps. I don't know if you need to remove battery optimization for both but that's when it started working.

Go to your settings and search for "Optimize battery usage". Once you're in the list, change to "All". I can't remember if you have to enable to see system apps so check that first. I then disabled optimization for:
