Why are Android downgrades and roots so complicated?
My oneplus 7 pro got updated to android 11 and it became slower so I decided to downgrade. Prior this, it's been the exact same case with my Samsung phones and LG phones when it comes to difficulty.
Instead of simply downloading and flashing a file, I had to:
* Install fastboo drivers on my PC
* Guess what, in order to do that, I had to reboot my PC and disable signature verification for drivers (turns out the OnePlus driver has a signature problem)
* Unlock the bootloader of the phone to a...

Samsung's blue light filter "Eye Comfort Shield" is HORRIBLE on non-AMOLED devices.
(Weirdly, this post was not approved on /r/samsung, so posting here)
So I just received a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and was very disappointed to find out how horrible Samsung's own blue light filter works on it. I use it on my AMOLED phone (s10e) and it works like a charm, but on the tablet it destroys the entire image quality.
This is a huge problem, as it is something that cannot be solved by other apps, since the functionality to do this properly and system wide requires root access.

Personal Review: Redmit Note 10 Pro - Xiaomis Pocket Knife for small money
Hi Community,
coming from a Redmi 4 Pro (yes it worked for 4,5 years). I bought the Note 10 Pro some days ago and wanted to share my experience:
**What I like**
* Fast for all daily needs and stable software, didnt have any problems
* 120 Hz display is no must have but really nice to have. Bascially it improves the browsing experience giving you a more fluid feeling when scrolling up and down, so its not only for gamers The super bright AMOLED looks great in sun light and overall.

The RedMagic 6 Series was announced for the US, but who is this really for?
I saw on AndroidPolice (as a sponsored post, which says a lot about who they allow to be their sponsors) that the RedMagic 6 Series was announced as something of a "flagship killer". Intrigued, I took a look at RedMagic's website. Now I'll admit, up until now I had never heard of RedMagic, so my first thought when I saw this was "Oh great, another neat looking Android phone that won't be available in the US." Until I saw their website listing it for the US market. Okay, cool. The specs on that s...
