Hi people. This is kind of a suggestion / question. Don't know where to post it really, so I try here.

We all know about Samsung DeX, right? It works like this; You connect your Samsung Android phone to an external monitor and possibly a keyboard/mouse and get their Desktop eXperience. Hence DeX.

Would it be possible (with quite a lot of development of course) to implement the same functionality into the Android Core, but instead of starting up DeX, it starts Chrome OS when connecting to the e...

Just A Heads Up: the contents of Secure Folder are not backed up on the cloud

Maybe I'm dense for expecting them to be backed up to the clouds but I thought from the denoscription that Google gave me that things I stored in it would be backed up to the cloud just not visible in my Google photos....

TIL that the Curvature of the notification shade corners changes with the icon shapes selected in styles

The corner radius of the notification shade changes with the icon shape in styles. More squarer icon shapes have sharper corners and circular shapes have more circular edges

I'm waiting for the day a random person "nearby shares" me

Title says it all.

Now that nearby share has an "everyone" option, I'm going to be adventurous and leave it on. Airdropping is so popular it has become a verb. Now that android has an equivalent version, I'm waiting for this to happen.

Just discovered multiple user support. It's great for a "work" profile!

I'm sure compared to some people I'm super late to the game, but after well over a year of remote work (and I'm now fully remote), I'm trying to separate work and home where possible. After digging around, I enabled multiple user support (Settings --> System --> Advanced) and set up a "work" user that I can use during the day when I need to focus, then switch back to "personal" so I don't accidentally start doing work when I don't want to. It's been great so far....
