Main reason to upgrade seems to be less hardware and more software support these days

I got a Samsung S21 with my previous phone being the OnePlus 6, and the reason for the upgrade was it losing security updates.

It's a phone that came out 2018, so going on to be 4 years old. The upgrade seems underwhelming. Not seeing much difference in speed in opening apps when it comes to the ones I use like youtube or the browser. After 10 years of Apple I switched - name checks out

Searched and searched, got a Xiaomi 11t pro few days ago. How did I suffered so much lately with an Apple device I don't really know (last was iPhone 11). I'm in love with it.

Compared to my iPhone 11 - every single thing is better. I'm impressed with the UI from Xiaomi. It's clean and neat and oh boy this thing is responsive.

I also do have the option for the new Google Photos integration but I can't seem to get it to work. The setting is enabled but anytime I go to attach a photo to somebody that doesn't have RCS, it just uses the usual MMS not the link....
