There's no 50mm lens on my smartphone. Why do they keep giving us more wide angle lenses and super zoom lenses?

Hi there. I noticed that a lot of people were expressing their distaste to the fact that the Pixel 4 had a telephoto second camera instead of an ultrawide, however I also see a lot of people talking about the 5x telephoto on the new Pixel 7 Pro.

I tried to relive as a 2014 Android user.

I was tired of holding my new 6.6 inch huge phone. I thought of reincarnating my old Samsung J5 2016. I bought a new battery for it. Installed Lineage OS with Android 10. Inserted an SD card. Download all those light weight minimal apps from fdroid.
