Gemini Nano won't be coming to the Pixel 8 because of "some hardware limitations" but will be coming to more high-end devices in the near future according to Terence Zhang, a Developer Relations engineer at Google, during #TheAndroidShow.

Chrome 122 Beta enables support for minimizing Chrome Custom Tabs

You'll soon be able to minimize a Chrome Custom Tab into a picture-in-picture window so you can interact with an underlying app without fully closing out your browser tab.

OnePlus has been back for awhile.

I remember the days where OnePlus was a king android device. I've been using Pixel series for the past year or so (6a and 7a) after using a cheap OnePlus N20 bought on a whim. The N20 was a super good phone for the price. 1.5 day battery, super fast charging, decent screen and good enough performance.
