Floating icons/picture in picture
Apps like Google Maps, Facebook Messenger, Twitch, and YouTube offer picture in picture/a floating icon sits on top of everything you do.
Do you guys use this? I immediately disable it if I can because it's distracting, blocks screen release, and is too small to be of much use anyway. Are these features worth using?...

What is the purpose of turning on the screen when you charge your phone?
My biggest issue with android across multiple devices is that when i plug it in or set it on a wireless charger the screen comes on. For example if I come home from working night shift and go into my bedroom and my wife is asleep and i plug my phone in it lights up super bright in the dark room and has woken her up more than a few times.
Now.. even if i take special care to turn the screen off just before charging it the screen immediately comes back on. I dont see any purpose in this. I wo...

Little rant about curved screens and the Oneplus 7 Pro.
I switch phone manufacturers around every two years just to keep it interesting and this time around I decided to go from a Note 8 to the Oneplus 7 Pro. I was already pretty sure of going Oneplus even before any of the info came out because of how impressive the Oneplus 6T was. I have to say I'm really disappointed that Oneplus went with the curved display. I used to think it was a cool idea ever since I saw it at CES in like 2014 but after actually having a phone with it, I despise it.
