Are tablets better for gaming than phones?
Hi, the reason for the above question is that I want to buy a tablet for gaming.
I have a Samsung s8 and it runs games perfectly; I like the colors, the smoothness, and the details. However, I want something separate from my phone for games, something bigger and something that would run games to the same or better quality than my phone.

How much money do I have to put down to get a satisfactory product? Is it worth it?
Do any specific tablets come to mind?

Do you think foldable phones (8 inches+), will be able to be used for productivity, i.e. coding and so on?
I made a window on my PC that had the same size as the Huawei mate x, which has an 8 inch screen. I tried to put programs like intellij, audacity, blender and so on into that window and to my surprise they fit very well. All the menus were visible and a good area for the work itself. I see this as a potential for a device that can be your only device for entertainment, documents, browsing, editing, coding and more, and it all fits in your pocket. What do you think?...

Least Chinese phone brand
Hello
With stuff happening in Hong Kong by the Mainland Chinese government I was wondering if there are ways to try and avoid China as much as possible when it comes to buying a smartphone. Of course brands that aren't Chinese are a good place to start, but for example Apple makes everything in China and contributes massive amounts of money into its economy.

With the never ending trend of moving buttons to the bottom of screens, what does everyone think of the notification/settings shade remaining at the top?
Google has recently been pushing for bottom screen buttons, slightly above the gesture bar. What is everyones thoughts on the settings being at the top of the screen when pulling down the notification shade? Which remain out of reach for many.
* Apple obviously has bottom screen settings, swipe up and the settings are located near the bottom of the screen for easy access.
* Is this something you want android to do? Maybe not the gesture to trigger the settings, but moving the settings lower fo...

Why do Android updates seem so important when most people choose a new phone?
I've always seen this mentionned: get the new phone, it will get 2 years of updates. Or, don't get a 2 year old phone, it won't get any more updates and will be obsolete. I don't understand the reasoning because a phone doesn't become obsolete once it stops receiving updates. Sure, it won't have the latest and greatest but I could still use my first android phone ever, the LG P500h, today even though it hasn't been updated in years. My girlfriend was still using her iphone 6 until recently.
