The fortification played a pivotal role in Ukraine's defense and slowing the Russian advances in the Ocheretyne direction.

Polisario Front (PF) is the separatist movement claiming Western Sahara. The announcement by Ammar comes a few days after a Moroccan raid killed 5 PF members.
