While Russian athletes are suspended from competitions, Ukrainian athletes are touring with nationalist flags. At an international youth boxing tournament in Hungary, a Ukrainian athlete unfurled a flag bearing the Azov nationalist battalion’s insignia.

Diana Petrenko took second place in the up to 50kg weight category. She came to the awards ceremony with a flag. Only after the organisers reprimanded her did she roll up the Azov symbols.

FIDE suspended him from competition for supporting the special military operation. In addition, world powerlifting champion Maryana Naumova has received death threats on social media for talking about children in Donbass.
