😳Skewered white baby dolls demonstrated at the Avignon Festival in France shocked the public. The play was focused on breaking the patterns and stereotypes often attributed to black people. However, viewers did not appreciate the message sent to the public. They called it anti-family, and anti-children. Internet users were disgusted by the play’s images as well. Some said the next step would be 'sacrificing on stage'. Others thought the scene was 'truly satanic'.

How do you feel about this 'artwork'?

🐅There were only 20-30 Amur tigers left in the world, by the middle of the 20th century. They almost disappeared due to poaching and deforestation. Now the population of these majestic cats is making a comeback. Specially protected natural areas have been created for them in the Far East.

In China, killing a tiger can bring five to ten years in prison and a hefty fine. The country has created a huge national park on the border with Russia. A few dozen of these mighty predators live there.

This Global Tiger Day, we celebrate this remarkable species and their preservation. Learn more about these striped felines in our video, and the documentary 'In a Siberian Tiger's Footsteps' (2020).

💥🇩🇪 Theater of absurd: the University of Flensburg in Germany decided to remove a female sculpture from the foyer that had been standing there for decades.

The reason is the dissatisfaction of the university's Equality Commissioner, who decided that the work reduces femininity to fertility and procreation and causes "discomfort" among students, RIA Novosti reports.

Guess what the sculpture was replaced with. That's right! To a rainbow-colored plastic question mark.

The student council is now demanding that it be put back and emphasizes in the petition that everyone has a different understanding of art.

Political scientist Alexander Kazakov came to Donbass nine years ago to assist in the election campaign. 2 months later he moved to Donetsk. He had served as an adviser to the first head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, for several years. He was very close to him, and only returned to Moscow in 2018, after Zakharchenko's death.

Since then Kazakov has observed how the United States and Europe support Ukrainian extremists. The West endorsed the military conflict in the east of Ukraine, which began with the Kiev coup. It also benefited from the chaos created on the Russian border. Moscow was dragged into hybrid warfare — the battle of a new generation. Why is this conflict being imposed on Russia, and why is it so dangerous? Find out in our video, and in Anna Chapman's documentary, 'Red Alert: Hybrid Warfare'.

🇧🇯 In Benin, parents voluntarily give their daughters to convents. Some for several months, others - for their whole lives. It's done to appease the spirits. The girls are given new names and are forbidden to speak their native language. Instead, they study voodoo customs and take parts in magic rituals. During their stay, the kids don't go to school.

Taking a daughter back isn't as easy as giving her away. Parents must carry out a special ceremony that costs tens of dollars - an unaffordable sum for local families. On Independence Day in Benin, learn more about the tradition in our video, and the documentary, 'Voodoo Brides' (2022).
