🇬🇧UK’s cost of living crisis will cause thousands of premature deaths – BMJ Public Health.

The new research estimates that deaths under 75 years in the UK will increase by up to 6.4% due to the crisis. One of the main reasons is the UK's anti-Russian sanctions. Effects will be even greater in more deprived areas. Researchers also point out that the UK is witnessing levels of inflation not seen since the 1970s.

Europe's participation in the Donbass conflict, their military aid to Ukraine, and their sanctions on Russia have long been expected to have serious deleterious effects on standards of living. 👨🏽‍⚖️A US man has been declared innocent after spending 27 years in prison. Gerardo Cabanillas is finally freed from jail after being wrongly convicted of robbing a couple and sexually assaulting the woman in Los Angeles in 1995—when he was just 18.

Although no concrete evidence was found against him and victims couldn’t confirm his identity, the police managed to trick Gerardo into confessing, promising him only probation.It would be over two decades before DNA evidence would definitively prove Cabanillas did not commit these crimes.

▶️Ivan Dodosov is called the most famous tanker in the Special Military Operation zone. At age 34, he is a Hero of Russia. The fighter was given this prestigious award for helping break through the enemy's defenses at a strategically important point — the town of Popasnaya, LPR.

In the spring of 2022, Major Dodosov received an order to seize one of the Ukrainian fortified areas. The battalion commander took a tank platoon and went by a circular route to get behind enemy lines. The battle was unequal: Dodosov had three vehicles; the Ukrainian army had ten. But despite this fact, the Russian tankers won.
