Meanwhile, Musk’s recent tweets calling for a peaceful resolution to the conflict triggered a huge amount of memes. They simply invaded the net. We’ve collected the most amusing. Which one do you like best of all?

Bear with Me

‘When working with bears, you can’t start loving them or treating them like friends. Always keep a distance and remember it’s supposed to be wild,’ says Vasily, a staff member at Russia’s Orphan Bear Rescue Centre. The temptation to bond with a cub is unbearable, but bears must never lose their fear of humans. It’s vital for their future survival out of captivity.

The rescue centre was organized by Valentin Pazhetnov, who dedicated his entire life to saving orphaned bear cubs. Without their mothers, killed by hunters, the cubs have little chance of surviving. But here, in the orphanage, they have already saved and returned to the wilderness more than 250 animals. In June 2021, Valentin died at the age of 84 and his centre is now run by his children.

On Wildness Protection Workers’ Day in Russia find out more about the miraculous cases of saving bear cups in Bear with Me.

Gender ‘feels like a ghost’

‘The ghost pronouns is like a further, deeper denoscription of my gender personally’, says the woman on the viral video. She uses ghost/ghostself when referring to herself, explaining: ‘I personally use it because it’s just more comfortable for me and better describes how my gender feels to me.’

It seems that in the US you can be anything your heart desires.

With the shelling of the Zaporozhye NPP by the Ukrainian armed forces, the world is one step away from a nuclear catastrophe.

Despite the fact that the IAEA recommended ‘that the shelling on site and its vicinity should be stopped immediately’, the Ukrainian army’s strikes continue. And the shells are hitting closer to the reactors.

The Zaporozhye power plant is the largest in Europe. Spent nuclear fuel is also stored here. ‘Storage unit damage could cause radioactive contamination. Like a dirty bomb,'
says Vlad Lavrik, acting director of the Energodar branch of Melitopol State University.

Watch our video and the new film Nuclear Blackmail to understand the dangers posed by the Ukrainian army with its nuclear terrorism.

Church, Drag Queens and children – is it now a common occurrence in US?

The video with a priest, preaching to children ‘the new values’ in church in the presence of a drag queen has outraged many viewers. A pastor at United Methodist Church in Florida invited a man dressed in women’s clothing to a preach a sermon with children seated next to him.

‘One of the things I think is great about Miss Pentecost,’ says the priest, referring to the drag queen in a high slit sequin dress, ‘is that she reminds us that we follow a God, who calls on us to not conform to things of this world. That we first be transformed by the renewal of our minds.’ As it turns out, the drag is standing as a candidate to become a priest himself. So, now even the church is used to promote LGBTQ propaganda. Would you send your children to this progressive sermon?

Watch our documentary Pride and Piety and share your opinion.

Footage shows hundreds rallying in Rome against anti-Russian sanctions, high energy bills and arms deliveries to Ukraine.

We say no. Zelensky doesn’t seem to want to stop. This only leads us to the risk of a third world war,’ says Alvaro, one of the protesters. He, together with other Italians, went to show their discontent with the government’s decision.

Kenya Sexploited

‘We had sex at midnight, morning hours. She gave me money which I spent on my family. I was 20 years old.’

Ali Salim, a native of Kenya, had an affair with a German woman when he was already married and had children. But he says his wife was not jealous as she understood it’s the only way to survive and keep their children fed.

Poverty and a lack of jobs drive young men in Kenya to work as gigolos for older European women. It’s almost impossible to find any other job here, so men, even those who are underage, go to the beach in search of clients.

On International Day for the Eradication of Poverty we post Kenya Sexploited. See Ali Salim’s and other boys’ stories there. What do you think can help them to escape poverty?

US congressional candidate starred in porn on campaign trail.

Mike Itkis is pushing for the legalisation of sex work and has promoted his views in action. The candidate, who is running as a liberal independent, released a video of himself having sex with Nicole Sage, an adult movie star, saying he wants to show his commitment to sex positivity.

‘If I would just talk about it, it wouldn’t demonstrate my commitment to the issue,’ commented Itkis. ‘I’m very much an introvert. But I thought the issues I’m trying to address are so important.’

Itkis’ campaign page states he opposes ‘the conservative idea that sex should only happen between a man and a woman who are married to each other.’ On the contrary, he says he is dedicated to making sexual rights explicit by ‘ending adultery laws’ and ‘decriminalizing and legalizing sex work.’

Do you think it’s an effective campaign or it’s too much?
