A sapper, codenamed ‘Neptune,' disarms Ukrainian mines in LPR rivers and reservoirs. It's treacherous work as visibility is near zero. Explosive devices are destroyed directly in the water, as it is dangerous to drag them ashore. 'Neptune' says a diver’s life depends on those on shore. The most important thing is not to let go of the safety rope.

To understand more about how sapper divers disarm rivers, and why it will take more than a year to clear Donbass, is covered in our new film Demining Donbass.

Marijuana Addiction Led Him to Death

Now, residents of Toronto, Canada can get cannabis delivered straight to their homes.

To qualify, Torontonians must be 19+ years old and order the psychoactive drug from licensed cannabis retailers. This convenient service became available due to the efforts of one delivery company, but what will the consequences be?

To answer that question, it’s enough to remember Colorado’s tragic experience. In 2012, the American state became one of the first to legalize marijuana for recreational use. Cannabis became easily accessible and that led to more addiction, particularly among young people.

In an excerpt from Marijuana Victims: Colorado, we relate the story of Johnny, who took his own life at the age of 19 and whose mother blames the legalisation of the drug. Watch the video and discover more on the problem of easily accessible marijuana and how it changes people's lives.

Yemen children on the brick of death from malnutrition

The first photo shows a severely malnourished Yemeni boy. He is one of around 2.2 million children in the country under 5 who are very hungry.

Hunger has long threatened the lives of hundreds of thousands of kids. It even comes to that their organs stop functioning. According to Save the Children, one child in Yemen dies every 10 minutes.

The situation in the country may get worse as the war between Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels and a Saudi-led coalition threatens to escalate.

Besides Yemen and African countries, Afghanistan and Syria are also experiencing critical problems with food. Meanwhile, just to help Somalia, the UN would need to invest a billion dollars. The West blames Russia for the situation. But is it really so? Find out in the film Breaking Bread.

Brazilian families go hungry due to severe drought

Footage shows how Amazonas, a state in Brazil, looks now. Just months after floods that destroyed crops, thousands of Brazilian families are struggling with drought, which they haven't experienced since 1930.

As most of Amazonas is not connected by roads, food, fuel and other goods are normally transported through waterways. But now ships cannot reach the settlements as the water sources became muddy and unpassable after the flood and drought. ‘We fear our children will get sick with diarrhea and other diseases,’ says Anilton Braz, a local.

Extreme weather events are happening more and more often around the globe. What can stop them? Find answers in our documentary No Way Back: Water.

CRINGE WARNING! Half-naked drag queen seduces children in presence of their parents

In the short clip, a half-naked drag queen suggestively spreads his legs in a revealing leotard and thrusts his breasts forward with kids just feet away.

The video went viral, sparking outrage online among users: 'I just DO NOT understand the parents who willingly expose their kids to this crap. Nah, I don't WANT to understand,' said one.

However, the graphic performance doesn't seem to bother anyone in the video. Parents are seen smiling while their children are clapping their hands.

The location is not identified, but some users suggested the event was sponsored by a popular chain of movie theaters, operating across the USA.

It seems, local authorities don't care...

▶️Abort Me Not

Should there be abortion in the US? This question has divided America for decades. Over the summer, the Supreme Court allowed states to decide for themselves whether American women can terminate pregnancies or not. Many states passed legislation banning abortions, even for rape victims.

U.S. President Joe Biden has come out in favor of abortion. He has promised that he will veto any law banning American women from terminating their pregnancies. However, if the Republicans win congressional elections in November, the battle between the pro-life and pro-choice camps will intensify.

Abortion became legal in the US 49 years ago. Since then there has been fierce debate between supporters and opponents. See their arguments in our premiere Abort Me Not.

‘Berlin doesn’t impose these [anti-Russian] sanctions. Washington does! Germany just goes along with it,’ says independent journalist Ken Jebsen from Germany.

He is the subject of a new series Red Alert by Russian ex-intelligence officer, renowned producer and author Anna Chapman. The series is specially produced for RT Documentary.

Watch Jebsen's story in the video and find out why many Germans believe there is no democracy in their country, and why journalists are trained to lie and hide the truth.

Earlier, we posted the first part, Red Alert Germany: Fall of an Empire? It talks about why the US dictates its rules to Berlin, and why the latter abides by them even to the detriment of its economy.

'The anti-Russian sanctions, from the beginning, are useless... These restrictions have further penalised the French people.'

Footage shows thousands of French protesting against NATO's policy of anti-Russian sanctions this weekend. The opposition party Les Patriotes is criticising Paris' position towards the armed conflict in Ukraine, especially the economic restrictions against Russia.

The supporters of the party were marching through the centre of the French capital, holding banners reading: 'Refuse this US/NATO proxy war with Ukraine to take down Russia and sell Shale Gas to EU' and 'End of anti-Russian actions! No to confinement and energy rationing'.

Protesters were also chanting 'Macron, your war, we don’t want it!' and burning smoke torches.

Europeans continue to take to the streets across the region. Experts have previously predicted the consequences that harsh measures against Russia can entail. To learn more, watch our film Sanctions: Boomerang Effect.
