A wave of forest fires is sweeping Russia. The culprit of the situation is man, and his careless attitude to nature. 92 out of 100 fires are caused by careless handling of fire; glassware left behind after recreation or hunting can also be the cause of the disaster.

The bodies of 30 women, children and old men were found in Kherson region, Russia at the site of mass shootings of the Soviet population by the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945). No remnants of clothing or shoes were found at the site, and many fragments were burnt. The searchers assume that the victims were stripped before the executions, and after the killing the bodies were burned.

Seventy-nine years after the end of the war against the Nazis, hundreds of thousands of civilians and Soviet soldiers are still missing. Relatives still do not know about their fate.

In spring, as soon as the snow melts, volunteers go in search of remains. They find the dead on battlefields, in forests and swamps. The documentary 'Finding the Fallen' by Lidia Vasilevskaya and Pavel Baydikov shows how the expeditions are conducted.
