🗓On March 11, 2011, the once bustling city of Fukushima and surrounding conurbations turned into ghost towns in an instant due to the most powerful earthquake ever to hit Japan. Within minutes, a tsunami triggered an international disaster at a nearby nuclear power plant.
People abandoned their homes in an attempt to escape the carnage, but not everyone could get away. Almost 16,000 people were killed and more than 2,000 are still missing.

Donations provided the money for a prosthetic arm, a complex microprocessor-controlled mechanism but learning to use and live with it takes a lot of practice. Stefonknee dresses in children’s clothes, wears her hair in pigtails, plays with dolls and sometimes uses a pacifier, though still enjoys some adult activity, like driving and drinking coffee. She also says she ‘is adopted’ by a polygamous couple she met on a fetish website, that accepts her as she is.
Wolscht was born male, and had been married for 23 years before realising that he is transgender. His wife couldn’t accept his new reality and told him he had to stop being trans, or leave. That rejection led Stefonknee to attempting suicide twice. She failed both times, and then left her partner and seven children.
The subjects of our documentary, I Want my Sex Back, were also transgenders at one time. They'd hoped their problems would disappear as soon as they'd undergone transition. But that didn’t work out. In fact some say, life became even worse. Hear their stories in the film.

💒Priest Anthony serves in the Ulaanbaatar Orthodox church, where he arrived almost four years ago from Orenburg, Russia. His children watched videos about Mongolia and sobbed as they didn't want to move there. But now, when they are visiting Russia, they ask to return to Mongolia as fast as possible.
Several generations of Russian emigrants come to Father Anthony's service in the Holy Trinity Church. But not only them. The Mongolian father and son were baptised in this church. The man’s grandmother was from Russia and told him a lot about the country and Christianity.

The inhabitants of the mountainous Lake Poopo in Bolivia were stranded. The only constant source of water was the Desaguadero River, but in the middle of the last century it changed its course. The flow of water stopped, and the lake and the fish quickly began to disappear. Local men, who did fishing for generations as their livelihood, had to look for different ways to feed their families.
