Some of the divers even took off their oxygen tubes to have a sip of non-alcoholic champagne.

🪵Wood vouchers to appear in France

Many in this country cannot afford wood to heat their homes. Ouest-France, a French newspaper, reports that 2.6 million families may need help. The vouchers will be issued in denominations of 50 to 200 euro.

The anti-Russian sanctions have made it expensive to heat homes with gas not only in France but also in other countries of the Old World. Residents warm themselves the old-fashioned way, with firewood. Watch the film Ice Station Europe (2022) to learn more about it.

🐆Terrifying footage shows an angry leopard attacking a car. It happened in the Indian city of Jorhat. Before rushing at the car, the wild animal managed to injure 15 people, including children. Now all the victims are out of danger, said a divisional forest officer.

Presumably, the leopard escaped from the sanctuary in search of food, according to local authorities. In their opinion, the predator could have been provoked by someone or something. This is not the first case of such a rampage. In November, another leopard attacked a motorcyclist.

Experts believe that the attacks are due to the fact that the locals are building houses right in the woods. For the same reason, elephants attack people. According to the Union Environment Minister, in the battle for resources over the past three years, 1,578 people have died as a result of animal attacks.

🎁 A holiday for every slum. Members of Mexico’s biggest drug cartel handed out gifts to the poor.

The video shows hundreds of residents receiving smartphones, appliances, trainers and other items. The gifts were delivered in pick-up trucks decorated with inflatable Santa Clauses, snowmen and reindeer.
