🐆Terrifying footage shows an angry leopard attacking a car. It happened in the Indian city of Jorhat. Before rushing at the car, the wild animal managed to injure 15 people, including children. Now all the victims are out of danger, said a divisional forest officer.
Presumably, the leopard escaped from the sanctuary in search of food, according to local authorities. In their opinion, the predator could have been provoked by someone or something. This is not the first case of such a rampage. In November, another leopard attacked a motorcyclist.
Experts believe that the attacks are due to the fact that the locals are building houses right in the woods. For the same reason, elephants attack people. According to the Union Environment Minister, in the battle for resources over the past three years, 1,578 people have died as a result of animal attacks.

🧊These picturesque photos feature the frozen waters of Niagara Falls at the border of New York state and Ontario, Canada. The water turned into mountains of ice during powerful Storm Elliott.
3,160 tons of water flows over it at a speed of 32 feet per second, Niagara Falls New York State Park reports. While ice forms in and around the Falls every year, it froze completely just once in history. In 1848 the river ceased to flow for 30 hours.
Though Storm Elliot provided stunning views, it also produced frigid temperatures and a deadly blizzard in New York. It has already taken the lives of more than 60 people across eight states, left thousands without power for days and provoked mass looting. Still, the storm keeps going.

There are only 16 residents left in Pena Zafra de Abajo, Spain. For decades they struggled with a constant exodus of people seeking jobs and opportunities outside the village, but nothing worked. So, to draw attention to the problem, they came up with an unusual solution - they made a nude calendar. Even the oldest resident, Pedro Sanchez, aged 100, stripped off. How do you find the photos?
Villagers have sold almost 400 calendar copies, and have already begun planning 2024’s version.

This medical centre in Donetsk cares for premature babies. Some weigh as little as 500 grams. Without special equipment they have almost no chance of survival. That is why the first thing the medics do in case of shelling is to take the equipment out. And the women in labour are lowered underground into shelters.

A few months of torture, almost no food, no water, in conditions of horrible filth and stench. Serb Vinko Lale recalls the Bosnian captivity he endured 30 years ago. He was liberated in late 1992. By then, he weighed only 46 kilograms.
Vinko was captured when the national conflict between Bosnians and Serbs broke out in Sarajevo. The Bosnians declared jihad (holy war). They cut off the heads of their former Serb neighbours, raped women, burned their houses. Vinko did not manage to escape as the roads were already blocked. He was captured and thrown into a former grain silo. About 700 other Serb prisoners were imprisoned there with him. The man's story is in our video and documentary ‘Bosnia: Victims of Jihad’.
