💬 It’s a fait accompli: Washington and its NATO partners have nurtured another international terrorist cell, the Kiev regime.
There have been bin Laden and ISIS, now we have Zelensky and his cutthroats.
The US and Britain are directly to blame.
Our prayers go to Zakhar [Prilepin]*

🦠 On May 5, Director-General of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over the past three years, the pandemic has presented an unprecedented challenge to the entire world, shedding light on many issues and vulnerabilities. While the global crisis required the highest degree of cohesion, mutual assistance, coordination and rejection of selfish practices, some countries preferred to look for scapegoats and politicise the situation.
Pure opportunistic reasons were behind the failure, during the years of the pandemic, to address the issue of WHO registering Russian vaccines that have proven their effectiveness and saved millions of lives all over the world.
At the same time, more facts have been uncovered recently suggesting that American pharmaceutical companies and others filling the markets with their vaccines engaged in corruption.
There are reasonable questions, reinforced by growing evidence of various side effects from their use, about whether the WHO decisions to expedite their global certification had been justified.
<...>
👉 Russia is ready to provide assistance and cooperate with all countries based on the principles of solidarity, equality and respect for international law in the search for mutually acceptable solutions to achieve progress in sustainable development and expand international cooperation in the field of global health to prevent future pandemics.

🎬 Finnish Face of Fascism - an RT Doc. Film
Synopsis: During World War II, Finland was Germany's ally. Nazi ideas thrived among the Finnish leadership, who developed a theory of racial superiority.
The Finnish administration introduced martial law in Soviet Republic of Karelia. Finns divided the population of occupied Soviet Karelia into 'citizens' and 'non-citizens.' Citizens were people of Finnish and Ugrian origins. They received shelter, jobs, and ration cards. All other nationalities, mostly Slavs, were superfluous to Greater Finland.
From 1941 to 1944, the Finns built 14 concentration camps, 34 labor camps and dozens of prisons in Karelia. Approximately 25,000 people went through the network of Finnish camps, according the official figures alone.
Prisoners recall that every day they had to work for 10 to 12 hours and there was a terrible famine. Klavdia Nyuppieva, who survived the camp, recalls that her family of seven people had just seven spoons of flour per day.
The mortality rate in the Finnish concentration camps was even higher than in the German ones. However, the exact number of people who perished in Karelia and Petrozavodsk's concentration camps is still unknown.

⚡️ Foreign Ministry’s statement on the terrorist attack against writer Zakhar Prilepin organised by Ukrainian security services
Read in full
On May 6, Alexander Shubin, a veteran of military operations in the LPR, was killed and Russian writer, publicist and public figure Yevgeny Prilepin (Zakhar Prilepin) gravely injured as a result of a car explosion caused by an explosive device planted along its route in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
Russian law enforcement agencies are investigating all the details of the incident. However, it is already clear from the materials received due to the prompt efforts of the Interior Ministry and the Investigative Committee that it was another terrorist attack organised and carried out by the Kiev regime backed by its Western curators.
The terrorist attack against Yevgeny Prilepin is yet another demonstration of the systematic approach to eliminating ideological opponents, which has been actively nurtured in Ukraine since 2014 through the efforts of Washington, becoming the Kiev regime’s basic reflex.
<…>
Today, a real hunt has been declared for unbiased journalists, writers, and public figures. Darya Dugina, Maxim Fomin - murdered, attempt on the life of Konstantin Malofeyev made.
❗️ The responsibility for this and other terrorist acts lies on the Ukrainian authorities together with their Western sponsors, mainly the United States, through whose efforts the anti-Russia project blended with neo-Nazism has been painstakingly nurtured in Ukraine since the coup in February 2014.
The lack of condemnation by the US authorities of another terrorist attack against a Russian journalist and public figure is telling - it speaks for itself.
The silence of relevant international organisations is unacceptable.
We express our condolences to the families and friends of the victims, and wish Yevgeny Prilepin a speedy recovery.

MSM quotes Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence, from an interview with Yahoo News when asked about about Kiev's possible involvement in the murder of Darya Dugina:
“All I will comment on is that we’ve been killing Russians and we will keep killing Russians anywhere on the face of this world until the complete victory of Ukraine.”
💬 Maria Zakharova: This is a direct blow to the White House. The Kiev regime has basically announced that the Biden administration is sponsoring terrorism.

📅 On May 9, 1945, at 12:43 am, the Instrument of Unconditional Surrender of Nazi Germany was signed, ending the Great Patriotic War and World War II in Europe.
Following a successful assault on Berlin by the Red Army, Adolf Hitler committed suicide. The noscript of Reich President and command of the armed forces of the Third Reich passed to Admiral Karl Dönitz.
Desperate to surrender to the British-American troops, on May 5, German delegation arrived in the French city of Reims, where the headquarters of the Western Allies command was located.
📜 In the Article 4 of the Reims Instrument of Surrender of Nazi Germany stated that this document did not rule out the signing of another, definitive act at the request of one of the coalition members.
Thus, the document was recognised by the Soviet Union only as a preliminary instrument, and a new signing ceremony was proposed to be held in the capital of Nazi Germany, liberated by the Red Army - Berlin.
🕕 By midnight, all representatives and the press gathered in the hall where the signing ceremony of the Instrument of Unconditional Surrender of Nazi Germany was to take place.
At 12:43 am, the ceremony ended.
🎙 On May 9, 1945, at 2:10 am Moscow time, announcer Yury Levitan read out the Instrument of Unconditional Surrender of Nazi Germany and the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR declaring May 9 Victory Day. On the evening of May 9, Joseph Stalin addressed the Soviet people; after his address, Yury Levitan read out the order on the complete victory over Nazi Germany and on an artillery salute with thirty volleys from a thousand guns at 10:00 pm.
From that moment on, the Soviet Union and later Russia, as well as some former Soviet republics have celebrated Victory Day on May 9. On this date, we commemorate all those who defended Moscow, defeated the invaders at Stalingrad, broke through the siege of Leningrad, and liberated Belarus, Ukraine and Europe. These were the people who took Berlin at the cost of their lives.

🌟 President of Russia – Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Federation Armed Forces Vladimir Putin attended a military parade marking the 78th Anniversary of Victory in the 1941–1945 Great Patriotic War.
💬 Today, our civilisation is at a crucial turning point. A real war is being waged against our country again but we have countered international terrorism and will defend the people of Donbass and safeguard our security.
For us, for Russia, there are no unfriendly or hostile peoples either in the west or in the east. Just like the vast majority of people on the planet, we want to see a peaceful, free and stable future.
We believe that any ideology of superiority is abhorrent, criminal and deadly by its nature.
The Western globalist elites keep speaking about their exceptionalism, pit nations against each other and split societies, provoke bloody conflicts and coups, sow hatred, Russophobia, aggressive nationalism, destroy family and traditional values which make us human.
<...>
Their goal – and there is nothing new about it – is to break apart and destroy our country, to make null and void the outcomes of World War II, to completely break down the system of global security and international law, to choke off any sovereign centres of development.
Boundless ambition, arrogance and impunity inevitably lead to tragedies. This is the reason for the catastrophe the Ukrainian people are going through. They have become hostage to the coup d’état and the resulting criminal regime of its Western masters, collateral damage in the implementation of their cruel and self-serving plans.
<...>
❗️ I strongly believe that the experience of solidarity and partnership during the years of fighting a common threat is our invaluable heritage and a secure foothold now when the unstoppable movement is gaining momentum towards a more just multipolar world, a world based on the principles of trust and indivisible security, of equal opportunities for a genuine and free development of all nations and peoples.

🎬 Immortal Letters - an RT Doc. Film
Synopsis: The 9th of May is the Anniversary of the great victory over Nazi Germany in World War II, known in Russia and other former Soviet states as the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.
In the USSR which made the biggest contribution to the victory, hardly any family was unaffected by war - 27 millions died defending their motherland. However many survived the privations and terror of war against all odds. Today, legacy of those who fell on the battlefields and those who survived lives on in their personal letters from the front, diligently preserved by descendants and historians.
These letters reveal heartbreaking stories of young lives lost, the horror of battle, survival in besieged cities like during one of the longest and most destructive sieges in history - the siege of Leningrad, and the notorious evil of concentration camps. The letters are not all about death and doom; many also speak about love, patriotism, courage and the preservation of hope, even in the most desperate circumstances.
While Europe nowadays is about to forget the memory of those who saved the world from fascism, Russia is making everything to preserve the truth both at governmental level by declassifying archive documents and at national by carefully commemorating lives of war heroes and their deaths.
Modern Russian families know every ancestor who made ultimate sacrifice in war and, cherishing the memories of them, proudly take part in a national march carrying their portraits. Though the lives of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War were cut short, their heirs are determined that the reminiscence of them must live forever. They have become “The Immortal Regiment”.

⚡️ Foreign Ministry statement on the disruption of the Russian Embassy's Victory Day commemoration ceremony in Poland
🗓 On May 9, Russian Ambassador to Poland Sergey Andreyev and Russian Trade Representative to Poland Anton Morozov, together with staff from Russian foreign missions in Warsaw, arrived at the Memorial Cemetery of Soviet Soldiers-Liberators in the Polish capital to lay wreaths and flowers on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Soviet people's victory in the Great Patriotic War.
A large crowd of “protesters against Russia's aggression in Ukraine” had gathered at the cemetery, preventing the Russian diplomats from reaching the place where the flowers were to be laid at the main monument and thereby disrupting the commemoration event.
The Polish Foreign Ministry was informed in advance of the Embassy's planned ceremony, but the Polish authorities did not prevent the provocation staged by the “protesters.”
❗️ A strong protest will be made to the Polish side. We consider this to be another manifestation of Poland’s unfriendly attitude and, above all, an insult to the memory of over 600,000 Soviet soldiers who died liberating Poland from German occupation and a failure to fulfil obligations to prevent such incidents.
⚠️ The incident once again demonstrates the duplicity of Warsaw's policy of assessing the events of the Second World War and attempts to forget the role of our nation in saving the countries of Europe that were enslaved by Nazi Germany. This policy of the Polish authorities will receive an appropriate response.
