Armenia does not consider itself a member of CSTO. The return of Armenia to this organization is impossible now, a point of no return has passed.

NEW: According to a person close to the Kremlin, Russia has no plan to save Assad and doesn't see one emerging as long as the Syrian president's army continues to abandon its positions.

As expected at this point. Say bye to Russian large-scale presence on the Middle East and Eastern Africa.
With loss of Syria as supply and logistics hub, Russia will no longer be able to sustain it's support for Sahel regimes that they supported from 2016-2018.
Russia is losing the only regions where they had considerable influence outside of the post-USSR sphere.
This is final and irreversible. This means one step closer to Russia becoming a complete puppet of China and regional player at best, on par or even worse than Turkey, unable to project it's power beyond few adjacent regions, lying in immediate vicinity of Russia's proper.
Well done, Monke.
As they say on Russian TV:
"The great Grandmaster outplayed everyone else!"

Syria was a trap for Erdogan.
He has made strategic mistake.
He has betrayed Russia.
He had betrayed Iran.
He is doomed.
Now the end of Kemal’s Turkey has begun, we have supported you.
Until now.
From now on you ll repent.

One of the biggest lies in history: "The West is the eternal enemy of the USSR/Russia"
We know how much Russians, commies and USSR boomers hate the West (despite a big majority of them living in Western countries). But is that rightfully so? No, it is not. Time after time the West has aided both the USSR and Russia through difficult times.
In 1992, Operation Provide Hope was announced. For nearly two weeks sixty-five missions flew 2,363 short tons (2,144 t) of food and medical supplies to 24 locations in the Commonwealth of Independent States during the initial phase of operation.
Following the initial shipment, Phase II of the operation began, consisting of continuing support of the former Soviet republics. Food and medical supplies were shipped by sea, land, and air from Europe. In all, 25,000 short tons of food and medicine were sent to 33 cities in the former Soviet Union.
The final stage of the operation was to build, staff, and train hospitals throughout the former Soviet Union. The operation concluded in September 1994.
Russia/USSR has virtually sent nothing to western countries. (Except for threats of war)
Both Russia and communism have always threatened Europe with occupation and misery. As a response to that we have armed ourselves for the sake of protection. But regardless we have sent plenty of aid and money to those, who threaten us with war & death.
So who is the enemy of whom here?

- In the 1920s the west collectively sent about 40 million dollars in aid to Russia/USSR as a response to the famine and economic crisis. (Which is the equivalent of $600 million today)
- During WW2 the west sent the equivalent of $200 billion to the USSR.
- The aid sent as a response to the Chornobyl disaster was about $4 billion
- During the 90s, the west has sent about $60 billion to post soviet countries.
