Especially as I see a lot of different texts online that have nothing to do with reality. Especially when they write about all sorts of "legendary bats" defending literally anything and everything with their units (judging by the texts).
The weather was bad for several days, UAVs did not fly, artillery was firing at previously planned targets, both ours and the Ukrainian ones. Khohol was accumulating large forces behind the reservoir dam near the town of #Makeevka. Yesterday, after the skies cleared, Khohol struck (without artillery preparation) with a manoeuvre armoured group to the north of #Terny. First 3 tanks and 2 BMPs went into attack, then up to half a dozen more armoured vehicles entered the breach.
Fortunately the forces of the 20th Army took up a strong defence and thanks to the competent command and the valour of the soldiers, the Khokhlyas did not manage to do what they had previously demonstrated at #Balakleya and in the #KrivoyRog direction. A number of tanks were taken out, and by evening the Khohol had fled back.
We would like to stress that Khohol had been planning this attack for a long time and had moved forces here even from #Volchansk. After driving the Territorial Defence units to the front, he regrouped his forces. At the moment the situation is tense, but as I wrote earlier, in my subjective layman's opinion, we will hold these lines.

▪️ In the #Kupyansk sector Ukrainian units with up to a company conducted a reconnaissance battle in the direction of the village of #Kuzemovka. The enemies suffered losses in personnel and equipment and withdrew to their initial positions.
▪️ Taking advantage of improved weather conditions, the AFU began to advance near #Makeevka. The offensive relied on the reserves and mercenary units accumulated in the area.
➖ The main thrust direction from the AFU bridgehead on the east bank of the #Zherebets river was the village of #Chervonopopovka near the #Svatovo - #Kremennaya trunk road.
➖ In parallel, the AFU launched an offensive on #Novovodyanoye north of #Makeevka with a force of up to two companies.
Both attacks were repulsed by soldiers of the Russian Forces' 20th Army. The Ukrainian formations retreated towards #Makeevka under concentrated Russian artillery fire.

Construction has begun on a new housing block in Mariupol's Ordzhonikidzevsky (Left Bank) district, the most affected by the hostilities.
The microdistrict, with a total area of over 41 hectares, will be built at the intersection of Gugelya and Pashkovsky Streets on the site of the ruins of the Azovstal metallurgical plant.
The project for part of the district was developed as early as 2008, and the gradual commissioning of the comfortable houses was planned for 2014. However, the crises of 2008 and the events of 2014 in Ukraine undermined the financial well-being of the Ukrainian oligarch Taruta, and the already built ten-storey houses became unfinished objects.
The new project envisages the use of the existing frames with the renovation of the housing stock to increase the number of flats and optimise the design solutions of the buildings' technical systems.
The first house of the new block is to be handed over to the city as early as December 2022.
In addition to the original project, the block between Gugelya and Leporsky Streets and the development of the previously planned block towards Victory Avenue are to be developed.
Abandoned by Ukrainian oligarchs, the unfinished luxury property will become a huge new residential area for Mariupol residents who lost their homes during the fighting for the city in spring 2022.

The former CIA director and ex-commander of US and NATO forces in Afghanistan David Petraeus does not rule out that a US-led multinational contingent may take part in the conflict in Ukraine.
“The United States and other countries can react (to Russia’s actions) in one way or another, but as a multinational force led by the United States, and not as a NATO force,” Petraeus said in an interview with Express.

He was searched at his home and escorted to #Kiev. Vyacheslav Boguslav has devoted his life essentially to his company, where he has worked continuously in various positions since 1966. Now the head of Motor Sich is facing a life sentence.
What is interesting about this news is that @Rybar reported yesterday 👉 "Effective Strike in #Kharkov" on the destruction by a missile strike at the Kommunar plant in Kharkov of an assembly hall together with the Neptune missiles, which were about to be sent to Motor Sich in #Zaporozhye to be equipped with a warheads, see also image👆.
Boguslav's arrest and indictment came immediately after the missile attack became known.

#Kupyansk Section:
▪️ Units of the 14th AFU Mechanized Brigade are reconnoitring Russian positions at the #Lyman 1 - #Pershotravnevoye - #Kislovka line.
▪️ The Ukrainian command expects an offensive by Russian Forces from the direction of #Gorobyevka. On the southern outskirts of #Sinkovka and near #Petropavlovka, the 65th and 202nd Battalions of the 103rd Territorial Defence Brigade have taken up devensive positions.
#Svatovo Sector:
▪️ Ukrainian formations of the 64th Battalion of the 103rd Territorial Defence Brigade, reinforced by several armoured vehicles, conducted a reconnaissance battle on the #Raygorodka - #Kovalevka line.
The attack was repulsed by concentrated artillery fire from the Russian Forces. AFU units suffered casualties. Due to difficulties in moving armoured vehicles and a shortage of fuel and lubricants, the enemy withdrew its tanks to the #Borovaya area.
▪️ As soon as weather conditions improve, attempts to storm the Russian borders will be resumed. Special Forces assault squads have been moved to #Borovaya to reinforce the grouping.
#Lyman Sector:
The AFU continue preparations for a large-scale offensive against #Kremennaya from the #Torskoye - #Terny line. Additional units are being redeployed to the #Lyman area.
▪️ Ukrainian assault groups will try to capture the village of #Nevskoye and then reach #Chervonopopovka to create a favourable bridgehead for the offensive.

▪️ During the advance from #Otradovka, Russian troops pushed units of the 58th Motorized Infantry Brigade of the AFU into the reserve lines.
▪️ The command of the 2nd Battalion of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade of the AFU was tasked to hold the defence line in #Opytnoye. Reinforcements from Chasov Yar are being moved to this section of the front, including armoured personnel carriers and several armoured vehicles.
▪️ Units of the 46th Separate Assault Battalion of the AFU´s 53rd Mechanized Brigade, supported by artillery and UAVs, attempted to flank the advancing Russian Forces from the direction of #Kleshcheevka. The attack was repulsed.
Ukrainian artillery is shelling the areas of the Russian advance in #Zaitsevo, #Otradovka, east of #Soledar, the area of the asphalt plant and the outskirts of #Opytnoye with barrage fire.
▪️ In the #Seversk sector, separate units of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade of the AFU conducted a reconnaissance battle near #Serebryanka.
The Russian soldiers sucessfully repulsed the attack. The forces of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade suffered losses in personnel and equipment. The command of the Brigade plans to resume the counterattack in the #Seversk and #Soledar areas to regain control over the lost positions.
