⚡️ Russian Defence Ministry Report on the Progress of the Special Military Operation in Ukraine⚡️
(15 January 2023)

💥On 14 January 2023, a missile strike was launched against Ukraine's military command and control system and associated energy facilities. All designated targets were hit. The objective of the strike has been achieved.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the Special Military Operation.

💥In Kupyansk direction, Army Aviation and artillery of the Western Military District delivered strikes against units of the 14th and 92nd mechanised brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) close to Dvurechnoye and Sinkovka (Kharkov region) and Novoselovskoye (LPR).

◻️Up to 50 Ukrainian servicemen, an armoured combat vehicle, and two motor vehicles have been neutralised over the past 24 hours as a result of fire and decisive actions by units of the Western Military District in this area.

💥In Krasny Liman direction, artillery fire by units of the Central Military District and strikes by Army and Ground-Attack Aviation against the concentrations of manpower engaged units of the 66th, 92nd Mechanised and 95th Airborne Assault brigades of the AFU near Makeevka, Stelmakhovka, and Kuzmino (LPR). Moreover, artillery strikes and actions by units of the Airborne Troops repulsed an attack by assault groups of the 71st Jager Brigade of the AFU near Chervonaya Dibrova (LPR).

◻️As a result of the defeat, the enemy was forced to retreat to their original positions. The AFU lost 115 personnel, three armoured fighting vehicles, and three pickup trucks in this direction.

💥In Donetsk direction, assault forces of the Southern Military District, in cooperation with airborne units supported by Army Aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery, have exploited success in the direction of the northern suburbs of Artyomovsk (DPR) and the Sol railway station.

◻️Over 80 Ukrainian servicemen, two tanks, three armoured fighting vehicles, and three motor vehicles have been neutralised during over the past 24 hours.

💥In South Donesk direction, artillery and motorised rifle units of the Eastern Military District and the Pacific Fleet’s Marines have inflicted fire damage on AFU’s concentrations near Vladimirovka and Ugledar (DPR). A sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was also eliminated near Sladkoye.

◻️Total losses of the AFU during the day have amounted to 50 servicemen, three pickup trucks, and a motor vehicle.

✈️Operational-Tactical and Army Aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian Group of Forces have neutralised an ordnance depots and MLRS repair depot near Konstantinovka (DPR), as well as 103 AFU artillery units at their firing positions, manpower and hardware at 123 areas.

💥A launcher of the Ukrainian Osa-AKM surface-to-air missile system has been annihilated near Novoselovka (Zaporozhye region).

💥Counterbattery warfare operation has resulted in the destruction of:
• one U.S.-manufactured M-777 artillery system near Shlyakhovoye (Kherson region);
• one D-20 howitzer near Krasny Liman (Donetsk People’s Republic);
• one 2S3 Akatsiya self-propelled howitzers near Usmanskoye (DPR);
• two Msta-B howitzers close to Georgiyevka and Skudnoye (DPR);
• two Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers near Gulyaypole (Zaporozhye region) and Shevchenko (DPR).
• one D-30 howitzer close to Serebryanka (DPR).

◻️A U.S.-manufactured AN/TPQ-36 counterbattery warfare station has been destroyed near Konstantinovka (DPR).

💥Air defence facilities have shot down two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles near Nikolskoye (DPR) and Krasnorechenskoye (LPR). Moreover, seven rocket-propelled projectiles launched by HIMARS and Olkha multiple-launch rocket systems have been intercepted near Kremennaya and Lisichansk (LPR), and Vasilyevka, Podgornoye, and Novomikhailovka (Zaporozhye region).

♦️#Soledar Area:

▪️ Wagner PMC assault troops have cleared #Soledar neighbourhoods of Ukrainian remnants. At the moment, Russian fighters are advancing from the north and south into the #Sol settlement as well as on the approaches to #Blagodatnoye. Remnants of the AFU are still in the mines under the town.

▪️ The enemy command has withdrawn one unit of the 61st Mechanized Brigade to #Kramatorsk to restore combat capability. It also plans to move reinforcements to the vicinity of #Soledar by 16 January to halt the Russian offensive.

▪️ West of #Berestovoye, Russian fighters have taken control of a stronghold of the 46th Assault Battalion of the 54th Mechanized Brigade, eliminating five militants.

♦️Southwest of #Soledar:

▪️ The RF Armed Forces continue their offensive against AFU positions in Krasnaya Gora from the north, east and south. The Russians are also advancing in the vicinity of #Paraskovievka near the Bakhmutka River. Ukrainian formations are actively using Mavic-3 and Matrice-300 drones to identify Russian positions.

♦️#Bakhmut:

▪️ In the eastern outskirts, Ukrainian assault units attempt to counterattack the positions of the "Wagnerians" at the Champagne factory on Patrice Lumumba Street.

▪️ At the headquarters of the AFU's Operational Tactical Group 'Soledar', heavy losses are reported from the Russian offensive and a large number of victims with frostbite on their limbs.

North Ukrainian direction
Situation as of 20.00 on 15 January 2023

🔻 The forced mobilization of citizens continues in Kharkiv region. Passports are being taken away from people of connoscription age who have been served summonses.

▪️The northern districts of the region are preparing defensive lines in case of a repeat offensive by the Russian Armed Forces. Javelin missile and artillery weapons have been delivered to positions along the Russian-Ukrainian border from the missile and artillery depots in Chuhuyiv.

🔻 In Sumy Region, the AFU grouping along the Russian border is being reinforced: units of an unidentified formation with a total of up to 5,000 personnel have arrived in Khmelevka, Bakyrovka, Krasnopolye, Lesne and Pokrovka to replace the forces sent to the Soledar direction by the military defence forces.

▪️ In the vicinity of Dronivka in the Belgorod region, the activity of a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Ukrainian armed forces from Mayskoye has been noted. The task of the DRG is to search for firing positions of the Russian Armed Forces' MLRS and artillery.

🔻 Along the northern borders in Chernihiv Region, sapper units set up minefields in Zalizny Most, Derevyny, Putivl, Pakula, Mykolayivka and Zhovtneve.

▪️ Fortifications have been erected near the Avtunichi and Repka settlements, and bridges and crossings over the Bilous, Desna and Snov rivers in Stary Bilous, Chernihiv and Snovyanka have been mined.

Apparently, one Patriot system, which is still waiting, does not suit Zelensky, so beautiful footage is needed. ⚔️ The Situation on the Fronts for the past Day

♦️#Svatovo - #Kremennaya Direction:

Artillery and army aviation of the ZVO group conducted strikes on AFU units in the areas of #Dvurechnoye, #Sinkovka in #Kharkov region and #Novoselovskoye in the LPR. Also, aviation and artillery of the Central Military District conducted strikes on militants in the districts of #Makeyevka, #Stelmakhovka and #Kuzmino of the LPR. ▪️ In #Kharkov region, Ukrainian troops are setting up defensive positions in case of a possible new offensive by the RF Armed Forces. Javelins have been delivered to the positions along the border with #Russia.

▪️ The AFU command has mobilised up to 5,000 troops in #Sumy Region to replace the units that left for #Soledar.

▪️ In northern #Chernigov region, AFU engineer units have mined the approaches to border settlements. They set up fortifications near #Avtunichi and #Repka.

▪️ In #Kupyansk - #Svatovo section are no changes on the frontline. The enemy command rotates and conducts reconnaissance of Russian positions.

▪️ In #Svatovo - #Liman sector, Russian servicemen from the 3rd Motorized Infantry Division of the 20th Army, supported by armoured vehicles, are advancing on the #Ploshchanka - #Makeyevka line near the #Zhuravka gully, retaking in fall lost positions.
➖ At the same time, the Russians successfully stormed several bases of the Ukrainian army in #Zarechnoye - #Torskoye direction. The AFU command plans to counterattack with reinforcements deployed near #Dibrova and #Chervonopopovka.

▪️ AFU terrorists shelled #Kremennaya, #Tarasovka, #Rubezhnoye, #Novopskov and #Svatovo with MLRS. At least four civilians were killed and civilian infrastructure was damaged.

♦️#Soldar Direction (MAP):

▪️ In #Soledar area, the Wagnerians have completed the clearing of #Soledar. In the western part of the city, the site of 7th salt mine has been taken under control. At the same time, AFU remnants are still present in underground communication routes.
➖ Russian units are advancing in the settlement of #Sol from several directions, as well as in the outskirts of #Blagodatnoye.
➖West of #Berestovoye, the RF Armed Forces stormed a stronghold of the AFU's 54th Mechanized Brigade, eliminating five enemy militants.
➖ Southwest of #Soledar, the RF Armed Forces attacked Ukrainian positions from the north, east, and south. Russian servicemen have also advanced in the vicinity of #Paraskovievka.

▪️ The AFU command intends to counterattack the positions of the Wagner PMC in the east of #Bakhmut at the Champagne wine factory.
➖ Southwest of #Bakhmut, the Wagnerians have captured positions of the 60th Mechanized Brigade in the south and southeast of #Kleshchiyevka. The loss of an important settlement will allow Russian forces to take fire control of the Chasov Yar - #Bakhmut highway.
