🔻 The forced mobilization of citizens continues in Kharkiv region. Passports are being taken away from people of connoscription age who have been served summonses.

▪️The northern districts of the region are preparing defensive lines in case of a repeat offensive by the Russian Armed Forces. Javelin missile and artillery weapons have been delivered to positions along the Russian-Ukrainian border from the missile and artillery depots in Chuhuyiv.

🔻 In Sumy Region, the AFU grouping along the Russian border is being reinforced: units of an unidentified formation with a total of up to 5,000 personnel have arrived in Khmelevka, Bakyrovka, Krasnopolye, Lesne and Pokrovka to replace the forces sent to the Soledar direction by the military defence forces.

▪️ In the vicinity of Dronivka in the Belgorod region, the activity of a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Ukrainian armed forces from Mayskoye has been noted. The task of the DRG is to search for firing positions of the Russian Armed Forces' MLRS and artillery.

▪️ In #Svatovo - #Liman sector, Russian servicemen from the 3rd Motorized Infantry Division of the 20th Army, supported by armoured vehicles, are advancing on the #Ploshchanka - #Makeyevka line near the #Zhuravka gully, retaking in fall lost positions.
➖ At the same time, the Russians successfully stormed several bases of the Ukrainian army in #Zarechnoye - #Torskoye direction. The AFU command plans to counterattack with reinforcements deployed near #Dibrova and #Chervonopopovka.

▪️ AFU terrorists shelled #Kremennaya, #Tarasovka, #Rubezhnoye, #Novopskov and #Svatovo with MLRS. At least four civilians were killed and civilian infrastructure was damaged.

♦️#Soldar Direction (MAP):

▪️ In #Soledar area, the Wagnerians have completed the clearing of #Soledar. In the western part of the city, the site of 7th salt mine has been taken under control. At the same time, AFU remnants are still present in underground communication routes.

➖West of #Berestovoye, the RF Armed Forces stormed a stronghold of the AFU's 54th Mechanized Brigade, eliminating five enemy militants.
➖ Southwest of #Soledar, the RF Armed Forces attacked Ukrainian positions from the north, east, and south. Russian servicemen have also advanced in the vicinity of #Paraskovievka.

▪️ The AFU command intends to counterattack the positions of the Wagner PMC in the east of #Bakhmut at the Champagne wine factory.
➖ Southwest of #Bakhmut, the Wagnerians have captured positions of the 60th Mechanized Brigade in the south and southeast of #Kleshchiyevka. The loss of an important settlement will allow Russian forces to take fire control of the Chasov Yar - #Bakhmut highway.

As we wrote yesterday, there were explosions in #Dnepropetrovsk during a massive strike by the RF Armed Forces on 14 January. One of them destroyed a multi-storey building in the Pobeda housing estate. The structure collapsed to the ground.

The lack of information, including the absence of even more or less distinguishable photos of the munitions wreckage, still makes it impossible to determine the exact cause of the incident. Based on data from open sources, only a few theories can be made about what happened:

▪️The house was destroyed by a cruise missile of an unknown type, which went off course after being intercepted by Ukrainian air defences. The version was based on the testimony of local residents who heard two consecutive explosions. It was later voiced publicly by Ukrainian presidential adviser Arestovich.

▪️The house was destroyed by a missile of an unspecified type due to a guidance error or a technical failure of the control system and its organs.

▪️ In local chats, there was also talk of a deliberate bombing of the building, arguing that there were no photos of the munitions wreckage and the blast was too powerful for a cruise missile.

One should not be surprised by such things: some residents remember similar strange episodes, like the spring strike on #Kramatorsk. Amid intimidation from harassment from the SBU, they are seriously (and not without reason) considering the possibility of provocation.

♦️The lack of details of what happened has caused a divergence of positions even at the official level in Kiev. Thus, the enemy air force command stated that the country's air defence forces simply could not shoot down the X-22 supersonic missile that had allegedly struck the house.

With this, the Ukrainian formations tried to refute Arestovich's words and thereby deny their possible involvement in the episode. In order to do this, they even had to contradict themselves: after all, previously the Air Force had nothing to say about the successful interceptions of the X-22.

Such high-level rushes, along with the lack of information, suggest that there are not the most pleasant "white spots" in the story for the Kiev authorities.

♦️But what if it was a Russian cruise missile that destroyed the house after all? Then it can be guaranteed that the residential building was definitely not the target of the raid and was hit due to a mistake or external factors.

The RF Armed Forces do not deliberately target residential infrastructure deep behind the lines. With limited firepower, such spending is simply not feasible - even ethical considerations aside.

☠️ Unfortunately, the events in #Dnepropetrovsk were not without casualties: according to the official Ukrainian side, the bodies of 30 residents of the building were removed from under the rubble, while 76 people were injured.

Whatever the cause of the explosion, the deaths of these people are a tragedy. Regardless of their possible political views, we must not relish and rejoice in the deaths of ordinary people. We should not be like the Kiev regime, for whom this is a common practice.

♦️On the #Donetsk front, Russian forces are trying to advance into the city limits of #Maryinka. The AFU is holding back the attacks. And slightly to the north, towards #Kamenka and the village of #Krasnogorovka. Not to be confused with the town of the same name and the fortified area of ​the AFU. 💀 The Wagner PMCs are currently engaged in heavy fighting for the settlement of #Kleshchiyevka.

▪️The enemy is resisting fiercely because it understands the strategic importance of this settlement. The capture of #Kleshchiyevka will allow the "musicians" to enter #Bakhmut from the southwest and also develop their offensive against #Krasnoye.

▪️The Wagner PMC fighters once again have to beat back house after house, breaking through the well-fortified AFU defence, which makes use of fortifications and terrain.

▪️ The assault units are supported by the Orchestra's artillery and aviation.
