The CDC is up to its old tricks. 
 
Last week, ACIP — the CDC committee that puts vaccines on the childhood schedule — made another arbitrary decision to experiment on our children and voted to recommend the Pfizer vaccine for 12 to 15 year olds.
 
The decision did not come as a surprise to those familiar with how ACIP operates, as it was hurried and not evidence-based.
 
The CDC’s own data shows that children have a 99.99 percent chance of surviving COVID. Yet the CDC decided to recommend the use of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for children 12 and older — a population for which the risk of severe illness is miniscule.
 
Let me be clear that my use of the word “experiment” above has nothing to do with the current Emergency Use Authorization of the COVID-19 vaccine while it’s still in phase three trials. Or the fact that the vaccine utilizes a technology that’s never before been used in humans. I say “experiment” because the entire childhood vaccine program is one giant experiment on our pediatric population — our leaders of tomorrow.
 
It’s an experiment because the products aren’t tested in combination with each other. ACIP simply recommends the products be given at the same visit but “in different limbs.” ACIP says that COVID vaccines can now be given with any other vaccine, without any safety or efficacy data to support its recommendation.
 
This means that pregnant women — who were previously advised to avoid vaccines during pregnancy to minimize in-utero exposures — can now get a COVID, flu and Tdap shot at the same time. And your tween can get a COVID, flu, Tdap, HPV and meningococcal vaccine at the same time. (That’s essentially seven different vaccines administered simultaneously.)

US Army Shuts Down Comments on 'Woke' YouTube Videos After Barrage of Mockery

The US Army has turned off the comment sections for their “woke” recruiting videos, including the one featuring a female soldier with two moms.

One of the sappy and pandering recruitment videos in their “The Calling” series features Corporal Emma Malonelord from California. It had 61,000 dislikes and only 3,400 likes as of Saturday morning.

Explanation: First came the trees. In the town of Salamanca, Spain, the photographer noticed how distinctive a grove of oak trees looked after being pruned. Next came the galaxy. The photographer stayed up until 2 am, waiting until the Milky Way Galaxy rose above the level of a majestic looking oak. From this carefully chosen perspective, dust lanes in the galaxy appear to be natural continuations to branches of the tree. Last came the light. A flashlight was used on the far side of the tree to project a silhouette. By coincidence, other trees also appeared as similar silhouettes across the relatively bright horizon. The featured image was captured as a single 30-second frame in 2015 and processed to digitally enhance the Milky Way.

SOLAR FLARE FRENZY AND CME: Yesterday, May 22nd, sunspot AR2824 unleashed a sequence of solar flares unlike anything we've seen in years. In only 24 hours, NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded 10 C-flares and 2 M-flares: movie. The rapidfire explosions hurled multiple overlapping CMEs into space. According to NOAA models, at least one of them will graze Earth's magnetic field on May 26th. The impact of the CME's dense flank could spark G1-class geomagnetic storms and auroras. 

HUGE SOLAR RADIO BURST: During yesterday's frenzy, the sun emitted a shortwave radio burst so loud that "it drowned out lightning static from a severe local thunderstorm," reports Thomas Ashcraft, who recorded the noisy signal using a radio telescope in rural New Mexico. Click to listen to a 100 second sample of the sounds emerging from his loudspeaker.

The radio burst coincided with an M1.4-class solar flare at 21:30 UT. "This was a very hot and dynamic flare for sure," says Ashcraft. "I was recording audio at 22 MHz and 21 MHz, and my radio spectrograph was operating from 30 MHz down to 15 MHz. Strong solar radio emissions were present at all frequencies."

This event was so intense, radio operators in the Arctic heard it at midnight. Rob Stammes chart-recorded the outburst from the Polarlightcenter in Lofoten, Norway:

"Normally, solar radio bursts can only be received during daylight hours," says Stammes. "Here in the Lofoten islands, the sun is only just below the horizon in May around midnight. So I was able to detect the event even though the sun was not up."

Astronomers classify solar radio bursts into 5 types. Ashcraft's radio spectrograph is able to determine which ones were present in the May 22nd outburst. "It was a mixture of Type II and Type V," he says. These are caused, respectively, by shock waves and electron beams moving through the sun's atmosphere in the aftermath of strong flares.

The flaring of sunspot AR2824 continues apace on May 23rd, so more radio bursts may be in the offing. Stay tuned.
