Security expert: Illegal Minneapolis 'checkpoint' tactics trace back to Marxist, anarchist novements

The eruption of "Signal-Gate" revealed the organizational structure and command-and-control nodes of left-wing activists operating within encrypted messaging apps to unleash pressure campaigns against federal agents in Minneapolis.

This structure is very revealing and, according to some security experts, is deeply rooted in revolutionary tradition.

Anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement checkpoints have sprung up across the sanctuary city of Minneapolis in recent weeks.

These makeshift checkpoints on city streets are operated by left-wing activists who track traffic in and out of specific areas, searching for ICE vehicles, and there are reports from Fox News that some agitators even have the ability to check license plates.

UK: Starmer accused after blaming security services for vetting process that failed uncover Mandelson-Epstein ties

Keir Starmer was dubbed 'morally bankrupt' on Thursday night after blaming MI5 for failing to vet Peter Mandelson properly.

Fighting for survival amid a revolt over his handling of the scandal, the Prime Minister criticised the 'vetting carried out independently by the security services' on the disgraced Labour peer, suggesting the process needs to be looked at.

But his comments provoked a furious backlash as critics pointed out Sir Keir had already approved and announced Mandelson as the new ambassador to Washington before he was subject to in-depth national security vetting.

MI5 did not carry out checks on Mandelson - it was the job of the Cabinet Office, with limited input from spies.

BEST OF THE WEB: "Corruption Isn't Theft — It's Survival Training"

Lessons on corruption from a Russian, and why Westerners come across as naive Silent East on YouTube begins his essay on corruption with the following: When people hear the word corruption, they usually think of money, envelopes, bribes, stolen budgets, officials living beyond their salaries.

That image is convenient because it frames corruption as a moral defect, a flaw in character, a problem of bad individuals inside an otherwise normal system.

And if that were true, the solution would be simple.

Punish the bad people, clean the system, restore order.

WaPo fires hundreds, ends sports reporting, guts foreign, local news

The Washington Post announced its long-rumored mass layoffs Wednesday morning tallying more than 300 journalists — and the official killing of the books, daily podcast, and sports sections and grinding down of local and international sections to almost nothing.

The New York Times pegged the layoffs as "about 30 percent of all employees" and quoted Post executive editor Matt Murray as having told employees on a Zoom that the dramatic altering of the newspaper is "positioning ourselves to become more essential to people's lives in what is becoming more crowded, competitive and complicated media landscape." Murray further said this will leave The Post in position to compete and lead on business, health, politics, the White House, and other domestic affairs.

He can't be this stupid . . . Can he?

The president's strange outbursts grow more frequent.

This happens when the mind begins to slip into the twilight of second childhood, as anyone who has dealt with the phenomenon can attest.

It is either that or the man is incredibly - as in unbelievably - stupid.

Or it is something much worse.

Blood in the Water

"Subversion works by importing an inverted moral frame and getting the target population to install it as its own conscience." — Yuri Bezmenov's Ghost on X Even in the deep-frozen fastness of midwinter, events and tensions surge, and America awaits . . . Bad Bunny! You perceive that there is some message in the genderfluid Puerto Rican songster's upcoming Superbowl halftime gig, but what is the message?

A 180-degree counterpoint to the earnest bashing and mashing of giants on the field?

The official annunciation of Reconquista?

A thumb in the eye of President Donald Trump and the white supremacist horse he rode in on?

🇷🇺🛸UFO intel documents stolen out of Russia reveal decade-long probes into alien encounters, abductions

Landmark UFO documents smuggled out of Russia 30 years ago — and just publicly revealed — show the Soviets investigated thousands of reports of extraterrestrial craft and encounters with aliens.

Legendary reporter George Knapp, 73, quietly released on Jan. 16 documents he smuggled out of Russia in 1993 under the nose of the KGB after the fall of the USSR in 1991.

The translated documents reveal the shocking extent to which the USSR and the post-Soviet Russian Federation probed the persistent phenomenon — despite the communist government officially deeming UFOs a concoction of war-mongering "American imperialists" in 1953.

Why is the Deep State targeting DNI Tulsi Gabbard with such ferocity?

Each day more and more people are starting to realize/notice there are elements of the United States intelligence apparatus that are targeting Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard.

The need for control is a reaction to fear, and Tulsi Gabbard has the DC Intelligence Community very worried.

What you will read below is something that was written back in 2024 about the potential for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), if President Trump were to win the election.

Subsequently, he did win; and while we are not saying this is the exact ODNI noscript that is being followed, we are certainly not disputing that either.

Assassination of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi

On 3 February 2026, Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, a Libyan politician and son of Muammar Gaddafi, was assassinated in Zintan, Libya, by four masked gunmen.

Gaddafi was 53 at the time of his death.[1][2] Background Gaddafi was wanted by the International Criminal Court since 2011, which had indicted him on two counts of crimes against humanity of "murder and persecution" for his role in suppressing the Libyan opposition protests against his father's regime during the 2011 Libyan civil war.[3] In 2015, a court in Tripoli sentenced him to death by firing squad in absentia for war crimes committed during his role in the crackdown.[4] However, the Zintan Brigades that were holding him since his capture in 2011 refused to hand him over as they did not recognize the authority of the internationally recognized Tripoli government or its courts.

CA Gov. Newsom refuses to cut ties to homeless fraudster firm

Borrowing from novelist James Hilton, who coined the word "Shangri-La" to describe a Tibetan utopia in a 1933 novel, Franklin Roosevelt gave that name to the peaceful retreat we know as Camp David.

For California Gov.

Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Democrats, Shangri-La hasn't become synonymous with a place that connotes peace on earth.

It stands for a hellish homeless housing nightmare, eye-popping fraud, and the ease and scale with which con-artists rip off taxpayers.

The ruinous "successes" of Bill Clinton

While the right — both old and new — keeps hammering Barack Obama (largely out of racism and Islamophobia), Bill Clinton harmed the people of this country (and others) far more gravely than Obama ever did by Guy Vantresca This post was motivated by an email blast sent out by Mikki Willis late last year, arguing that Barack Obama was "was our most dangerous leader", and "the most destructive president this nation has ever experienced." Willis based this judgement on a range of measures taken by Obama — extending the "war on terror" (adding five new wars to Bush/Cheney's two), increasing surveillance and spy programs, bolstering the financial position of the top 10%, blaming voters for failure of the democratic process, and more.

Florida freeze batters citrus belt, inflicts "significant damage" to central orange groves

Floridians were once again warned this week to watch out for falling iguanas as an ultra-rare cold blast sent temperatures plunging to record lows of 22F in Jacksonville and 24F in Orlando.

Whenever Arctic air pours into The Sunshine State, its citrus industry inevitably takes a hit, and this deep freeze comes on top of years of damage from greening disease and repeated blows from tropical cyclones that have already decimated the crop.

"There was significant damage to the remaining oranges to be picked in central Florida," said Jim Roemer, a meteorologist who publishes the WeatherWealth newsletter, quoted by Bloomberg.

Roemer added, "Many key areas were well below 28 degrees for over four hours between Sunday and this morning."

COVID Shots Increase the Risk of a Leading Cause of Maternal and Fetal Death by 24%

A newly published CDC registry study using data from the CDC's COVID-19 Vaccine Pregnancy Registry (C19VPR) and the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) compared approximately 8,000 vaccinated pregnant women to 8,000 unvaccinated pregnant women and found a 24% higher relative risk of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (15% vs. 12%) among those who received COVID-19 shots.

These disorders — which include gestational hypertension and preeclampsia — are a leading cause of maternal and fetal death worldwide.

The association was statistically significant, persisted in sensitivity analyses, and remained after adjustment for multiple confounders.

Newsom's "Train to Nowhere": Californians burn billions for political boondoogle

In the dystopian novel 1984, George Orwell wrote, "The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears.

It was their final, most essential command." The true meaning of that line was never more clear than watching the truly bizarre photo op of California governor Gavin Newsom heralding the success of the greatest boondoggle in history: his high-speed train to nowhere.

Without laying a single yard of track after burning $12 billion, Newsom showed a diesel freight train on a conventional track to create the appearance of a working railroad.

I have been writing about this boondoggle for years.
