Stand in the Gap is thrilled to share that we’ve donated $40,000 to The J6 Road Home Project! This amazing achievement was made possible by the incredible generosity of American Patriots who are committed to supporting January 6th defendants as they navigate their way back to somewhat normalcy.

Join us in this vital mission as we prepare to welcome these individuals upon their release! Whether you can contribute $10, $100, or $1,000, your support is a powerful step towards healing and rebuilding. They stood in the gap for all Americans on January 6, 2021 — and now it’s time that we stand in the gap for them.

Donate at www.j6roadhome.com and stand with us to turn hope into action.

This donation is made in loving memory of Ashli Babbitt, Rosanne Boyland, Kevin Greeson, and Benjamin Phillips, honoring their legacy. We will never forget the ultimate sacrifice they paid.

Yesterday, I walked out of prison a free man after 1,418 days, thanks to the grace of God and the courage of President Trump. The weight of those days lifted as I saw my kids' faces light up with joy, their arms wrapped around me, tears streaming down. This moment, right here, is what freedom feels like. I'm home, where I belong, with the ones who love me, because of the unwavering support from all of you who never stopped believing in us, the January 6th hostages. Your pressure, your voices, they made this possible. We are reunited, and it's because of you, because of him. Thank you, America. Thank you, President Trump.

Since my pardon by President Trump, I’ve grown significantly. I prioritize time with my children, focus on my mental health and helping others, and stay humble, putting God first. I value my CHARM Prison Ministry family, staying connected to the body of Christ, and appreciate my team. Yes, I’ve faced storms, but through every challenge, I’ve risen stronger, transformed by faith and purpose. This is my story of redemption—and it’s only the beginning.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the heroes who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering love for America will never be forgotten.

At Stand in the Gap, we remain committed to supporting those who continue to carry the weight of that sacrifice—veterans, families, and patriots alike. ❤️
🇺🇸 Marine. Patriot. Fighter. January 6th Defendant.

Bart Shively is nearing the end of his courageous battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. A proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran and January 6th defendant, Bart has faced every trial with honor and resilience. Now, we’re rallying to honor his life and legacy. Every dollar raised will go directly to covering his funeral and afterlife expenses.

Help us send this brave veteran off with the dignity he deserves ❤️

It is with immense honor that we share Bart Shively’s Marine Corps portrait. Bart isn’t just a Marine veteran or a January 6th patriot—he’s a man who’s lived his life with unshakable courage and a heart full of love for this country. To know Bart is to know a true hero, someone who’s always stood tall for what he believes in.

Right now, Bart’s fighting his toughest battle yet against non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Even in these final days, his spirit shines through. He’s shared his wish to be laid to rest in a Marine Corps casket, surrounded by his January 6th brothers and sisters who stood shoulder-to-shoulder with him. It’s a simple request from a man who’s given so much.

Let’s wrap Bart in the love and respect he deserves. Share his story, his courage, his name. Let him know we’re with him, honoring every moment of his incredible life. If you want to learn more about Bart or show your support, go to www.standinthegap.foundation/bart

Today, we gathered to honor and celebrate the beautiful life of our brother  We came together in love and unity to say our final goodbyes.

The service was profoundly moving, a tapestry of memories and stories that reminded us of the incredible legacy Bart leaves behind. At the graveside, emotions poured freely—grief, yes, but also gratitude for the gift of having known such a remarkable man. The burial site was breathtaking, nestled in a serene landscape that honors those who have served this great nation.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for every person who helped make this day a beautiful farewell. To those who organized, attended, shared stories, offered prayers, or simply held space for Bart’s memory—thank you. Your prayers, love, support carried us through this day, turning our sorrow into a celebration of a life so well-lived.

Bart, you were a gift, a beacon, a friend. We will carry you with us always. Rest in peace. Semper Fi, brother.

With all our love.

As the fireworks light up the skies this July 4, 2025, our hearts at Stand in the Gap are heavy with the memory of those we lost in the wake and aftermath of January 6, 2021. This first Fourth of July since so many were pardoned is a moment to pause, to reflect, and to honor the precious lives that are no longer with us. Their absence casts a shadow on our celebrations, a reminder of the deep cost of freedom.

These were Americans—sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, patriots all—who carried dreams, convictions, and love for this nation. They were veterans, protectors, and citizens, each with a story that ended too soon.

Today, as we wave our flags and sing of liberty, we pledge to never forget those who are not here to share this moment. Their sacrifice fuels our commitment to a nation that stands tall, bound by the ideals of freedom and justice for all.

Happy Independence Day.
