The weight of those days lifted as I saw my kids' faces light up with joy, their arms wrapped around me, tears streaming down. This moment, right here, is what freedom feels like. I'm home, where I belong, with the ones who love me, because of the unwavering support from all of you who never stopped believing in us, the January 6th hostages.
