The operation involved the elite special forces unit "Shaldag," deploying over 100 personnel deep into Syrian territory, approximately 200 km from the Israeli border. Soldiers descended from helicopters to infiltrate the facility, which was part of the Scientific Research Center linked to missile production.

During the raid, the team seized documents and other critical materials from the site. Subsequently, they planted explosives to destroy the underground facility.

The IDF released:
- Mission preparation footage.
- Bodycam recordings showing moments from within the facility.
- A visualization of the facility's structure and its precise location in Masyaf.
