Google is even integrating Bard into Google Assistant and since it is an Android Feature, it will be available on all Android devices

Now, Google is developing "Pixie", a new AI assistant, exclusive to Google Pixels
Pixie will be powered by Gemini, Google's most powerful data model

Some of the features of Pixie would be that it can pull information from Gmail, Maps, and other “data from Google products” on your phone to “evolve into a far more personalized version of the Google Assistant.”

Pixie aims to perform “complex and multimodal tasks, such as suggesting directions to the closest store where someone can buy a product they have photographed.”

Google might even bring those AI features to “its lower-end phones and devices like its Pixel watch.”

Twitch revamps rules on sexual content

Adult content such as nude drawings and sculptures are now permitted on streaming site Twitch - as long as it is deemed artistic.

Creators can now also stream video highlighting their "breasts, buttocks or pelvic region" the Amazon-owned site has announced.

A blanket ban on pornographic material remains in place.

"We have received consistent feedback from streamers... that it can be difficult to know how their content will be interpreted," Twitch vice president of customer trust Angela Hession said in a blog post.

Other dances such as pole dancing and "twerking" are also now allowed without being labelled.

Twitch said this change was made because the previous rules created issues, such as barring "twerking at a wedding" or exercise classes that involved pole dancing.

Manu Sharma, who has been leading smartphone startup Nothing operations in India since February 2021, has stepped down from his role as the General Manager and Vice President of Nothing India

Manu Sharman has previously spent 20 years working in Samsung and HP.

He quit Samsung in December 2020 after working for 10 years across multiple roles, including Samsung India Vice President and head of product strategy.

Manu Sharma says he left Nothing due to personal reasons.
His last working day at Nothing will be on January 20, 2024.

Adobe and Figma call off $20 billion merger

Adobe first announced it would acquire Figma in September 2020 in a cash-and-stock deal worth about $20 billion.

The news sent Adobe shares plunging, but the company reiterated that the acquisition would be a natural complement to Adobe’s portfolio, writing in the original announcement that “the combination of Adobe and Figma will usher in a new era of collaborative creativity.”

Adobe and Figma have terminated their planned $20 billion merger in light of regulatory hurdles.

Also, Adobe will now pay Figma a $1 billion breakup fee.

In a statement, the two companies said “there is no clear path to receive necessary regulatory approvals from the European Commission and the UK Competition and Markets Authority.”

David Wadhwani (Adobe Senior VP) said, "We will continue to look for ways to partner with Figma to delight our joint customers."
