Google Pixel 9 will feature the new 'Pixie Assistant'
Source
Google Assistant is the most powerful Assistant out of all others available on smartphones
Google is even integrating Bard into Google Assistant and since it is an Android Feature, it will be available on all Android devices
Now, Google is developing "Pixie", a new AI assistant, exclusive to Google Pixels
Pixie will be powered by Gemini, Google's most powerful data model
Some of the features of Pixie would be that it can pull information from Gmail, Maps, and other “data from Google products” on your phone to “evolve into a far more personalized version of the Google Assistant.”
Pixie aims to perform “complex and multimodal tasks, such as suggesting directions to the closest store where someone can buy a product they have photographed.”
Google might even bring those AI features to “its lower-end phones and devices like its Pixel watch.”
Pixie could be the Next Gen Version of Assistant with Bard

Self-Troll Moment
Twitter
Madhav Sheth clicked his selfie from his Honor 90 smartphone and this is the result.
Ironically, Media Publication Digit India even awarded Honor 90 as the BEST smartphone camera 2023.
Dynamic Range is absolutely shit on the front camera of Honor 90 & for the rear camera, Honor 90 does NOT have an OIS and comes with a 2MP sensor too
HTech (Honor India) and its CEO Madhav Sheth is now celebrating after Digit India crowned them as the best smartphone camera awards
DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE?

Chromium browser Thorium contains a Furry Porn Easter Egg
Reddit
A popular, fast & smoother chromium browser fork called Thorium was caught containing Furry Porn images.
There was a soft porn furry image inside the Thorium source code repository, which was removed with a commit on the main branch.
Author Alex claimed that he added them as an "easter-egg" & it could be accessed by the address chrome://yiff.
He then removed it after being caught, BUT ended up putting the anti-circumcision (sexually mutilated child) images on "another site"
This is exactly why the community has decided to mark it as child pornography distribution.
In the same source repo from above, a small collection of "hidden" furry pornography (soft & explicit) was also found, which was cut with a commit on the main branch.
Thorium Author Alex has fixed these but he has also deleted all the issues now related to furry porn images
Visit Archive.is/github.com for the proofs

Twitch revamps rules on sexual content
Adult content such as nude drawings and sculptures are now permitted on streaming site Twitch - as long as it is deemed artistic.
Creators can now also stream video highlighting their "breasts, buttocks or pelvic region" the Amazon-owned site has announced.
A blanket ban on pornographic material remains in place.
"We have received consistent feedback from streamers... that it can be difficult to know how their content will be interpreted," Twitch vice president of customer trust Angela Hession said in a blog post.
Other dances such as pole dancing and "twerking" are also now allowed without being labelled.
Twitch said this change was made because the previous rules created issues, such as barring "twerking at a wedding" or exercise classes that involved pole dancing.

Xiaomi announces changes in Bootloader Unlocking Policy for Global and Indian devices
Xiaomi has updated Bootloader Unlock Rules for its HyperOS-eligible devices
1) Bootloader unlocking permission will be required through the Xiaomi Community App.
Application Portal will go live soon with Application 'Rules'.
2) Users will NO longer receive Xiaomi HyperOS updates if they leave their devices unlocked.
To receive HyperOS updates, users will need to 're-lock' devices on MIUI 14
As a "Human-centric" OS designed & tailored to connect personal devices, cars, & IoT products in an ecosystem, Xiaomi HyperOS places a "paramount focus on security"
🤓🤓🤓🤓👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻
A brand that does NOT care for Security Patches to patch vulnerabilities in its OS, claims HyperOS focuses on security.

Adobe and Figma call off $20 billion merger
Adobe first announced it would acquire Figma in September 2020 in a cash-and-stock deal worth about $20 billion.
The news sent Adobe shares plunging, but the company reiterated that the acquisition would be a natural complement to Adobe’s portfolio, writing in the original announcement that “the combination of Adobe and Figma will usher in a new era of collaborative creativity.”
Adobe and Figma have terminated their planned $20 billion merger in light of regulatory hurdles.
Also, Adobe will now pay Figma a $1 billion breakup fee.
In a statement, the two companies said “there is no clear path to receive necessary regulatory approvals from the European Commission and the UK Competition and Markets Authority.”
David Wadhwani (Adobe Senior VP) said, "We will continue to look for ways to partner with Figma to delight our joint customers."
