Why do women always leave the washing up sponge submerged in dirty water. A sponge ABSORBS! Therefore, why, of all places, would you leave it in DIRTY water. It's annoyed me since my youth. Envisage what a sponge actually is before ritualistically sacrificing it to the sink.
