Microsoft and its subsidiaries have become complicit to United States nepotism regarding trade control laws between Iran, Russia, Syria, and many other countries. GitHub started blocking accounts of Iranian devs, afraid that they will use it to develop nuclear bombs.

Recently, GitHub started banning Iranians 🇮🇷 from their platform for no apparent reason, other than a very generic rule in their Trade Control terms, stating that GitHub cannot be used "for purposes ... related to the development, production, or use of nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons or long range missiles or unmanned aerial vehicles." (actually due to US sanctions).

I could also possibly use GitHub to create nuclear pony weapons, however I haven't been banned (yet) from GitHub: the ban is based on the regional setting of the GitHub account, essentially discriminating users from Iran, Crimea and other "enemy" countries (I love you all btw ❤️❤️❤️).

I strongly encourage you to protest and demand a response from GitHub, either by sharing this message and the #githubForEveryone hashtag, or by contributing to the following GitHub repo, with your support:
