A lot of left-wing political theory and analysis just consists of pointing at objectively good things and then pathologizing them as evil and bigoted. So, if you ignore their stupid conclusions and whining, then a lot of their observations can be helpful.
Take critical race theory, for example: Western Civilization was objectively founded to benefit White people at the disadvantage of everyone else, and that's a good thing. White societies are irreparably "racist," and that's a good thing. Defending the West and the values of the West is defacto defending the political power and ideological values of White people, and that's a good thing.
The problems with Leftist theory is not their observational analysis, but their genius solutions to the "problems" (basic facts of nature) that they identify (pathologize).

What Fake Democracies Look Like
Several Western governments currently front themselves as examples of democracy to the world. However, many of these nations are essentially fake democracies. Using this allegedly pro-democracy position, they condemn nations like China, Russia, Iran, etc…
Big tech may pull out of Hong Kong because HK passed laws that ban them from doxing private citizens.
A big tech coalition whined that the laws were "highly unusual and out of step with international privacy developments." Presumably by "international privacy developments" they mean big tech facilitating the doxing of private citizens to enforce the globalist social credit system.
Hilariously, their letter claimed that what qualifies "doxing" and what qualifies "psychological harm" is broad and subjective, and thus the laws are dangerous and open to abuse. Apparently, this logic does not apply to their own "hate speech" regulations. Abuse of power for me but not for thee.

Overall, the essay is written with a neutral tone, but Heyd is quite fearless nonetheless: He denies social constructionism, defends ethnic identity, defines European racial identity, validates prewar archaeology, and even indirectly implies that the (so-called) “European migration crisis” is comparable to genocidal colonialism and a net-negative for native Europeans. WHO ARE WE EUROPEANS?
Much has already been written about the Europeans and one has often tried to define us. Without a doubt, we are a mixture of different peoples, nations and networking regions, historically grown, and repeatedly interacting with our neighbours. But let’s face it: Is there more than Europeans being only a social construct? And what distinguishes us Europeans from the rest of the world, if we go back in time and beyond the beginnings of what is called the ‘Christian-Occidental’ spiritual and cultural heritage? As a Prehistorian, and with regard to anthropology and genetics, I would first add our language, mostly belonging to the Indo-European language family. Next is it our physiognomy and appearance: distinct faces, eye forms and noses, altogether relatively light-skinned and variable in our hair and eye colours, clearly with a south-north gradient within the continent. Furthermore, we can usually metabolize carbohydrates and alcohol well and are able to digest milk without any problem. Then take into account our body size: on average, we are the tallest people on the planet. Historically, a special social organization predominates: hierarchical and patriarchal; monogamous, exogamous and patrilocal; nuclear and extended families; primogeniture and patrilinear inheritance, etc., and mostly combined in such a way. Finally, we are quite warlike: not only have we decimated ourselves neatly over the last millennia, the rest of the world can also sing a Swan’s Song of it; considering, for example, when European nations at the height of Colonialism at the end of the 19th century were controlling more than three quarters of the world, with Britain alone a quarter of the earth’s population.
