This also hits thousands of small businesses - not only farmers. Rachel Reeves tax changes could affect tens of thousands of SMEs - which employ 60% of all private sector workers
"Death taxes" are immoral as well as damaging - scrap IHT for all

MPs vote - probably on Friday - so please contact yours today using our free online tool: https://together.eaction.org.uk/asbill
Serious concerns include:
Weakened Safeguards: Protections for vulnerable people have been removed or weakened, increasing their risk of coercion
Lack of Oversight: A vague panel replaces judges, raising concerns about spotting coercion or assessing mental capacity
Hospice Impact: Hospices may be forced to allow assisted suicide or lose funding, threatening care for the dying
Profit Risks: The Bill allows for-profit companies to offer assisted suicide, risking exploitation
Harmful Message: Combined with care cuts, the Bill sends a message that vulnerable people are a burden
Unclear Legislation: The Bill has changed significantly since the last MP vote, removing safeguards and leaving key details uncertain
If you share any of these concerns, please use our tool to contact your MP today: https://together.eaction.org.uk/asbill

FAMILY FARMS TAX: Earlier this year, an incredible show of strength
So many out in solidarity with those who put food on our tables
Rachel Reeves is taxing our farmers - to send £536m abroad?
Govt claims it will raise £500m by taxing UK farms - but plans to send even more to overseas agricultural projects. Unbelievable.

ASSISTED SUICIDE BILL: "If we cannot assist the living, we certainly should not be assisting people to die"
"The reality is, it's far too dangerous to introduce Assisted Suicide when our care system and health system are so broken"
We need better care, not assisted death
Without serious investment in palliative and social care, this Bill offers death as a cheaper substitute for real support
The vote on this is THIS FRIDAY and will be close - it is vital to contact your MP now⬇️

📽NEW: "What’s Wrong with the Assisted Dying Bill?"
Watch our short documentary film feat. Fleur Elizabeth, Kevin Yuill, Romy Cerratti, Eileen Chubb, Dr Calum Miller, Amanda Hunter, Flick, Ann, & more
This film explores the serious dangers posed by the Assisted Suicide Bill (AKA "Assisted Dying" / Terminally Ill Adults Bill).
We explore how similar laws have expanded beyond their original scope in other countries, why the UK, with its overstretched and underfunded healthcare and social care systems, is in no position to safely introduce such legislation, and how the process behind this Bill has been deeply flawed, from the rejection of key safeguards to the marginalisation of opposing voices.
With the all-important vote expected this Friday - and the vote on a knife-edge, now is the time to act. Please contact your MP to raise awareness of the risks this ill-conceived Bill poses.
A thank you to all who appeared in the documentary,
and to everyone who has worked tirelessly to #KillTheBill
Shot, directed and edited by Rory Jacobs
