Well...

My arch install decided to die today, so... everything gonna be postponed until further notice.

Both X11 and Wayland refuses to show up, my best bet is the nvme sitting loose inside the laptop since i didn't screw it (thx for asus for giving the worst screws ever and immediately broke after 5 turns) and taped it with 3m tape.

Or i need to wait for another mesa update idk.

Update, temporary fixes from @vbajs:
Grab an arch live iso, flash it in a usb drive, chroot into your arch install and do this
pacman -U https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/l/libdisplay-info/libdisplay-info-0.1.1-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

or just do that command under the regular tty.

The backend of CRB Kitchen (3.2.7), just fixed the rpm database + update + a little rpm fusion lol.

How to use CRB Backend (3.3.9) as your main distro on WSL

Warning: This tutorial is being made immediately after me mumbling around with CRB Backends, results may vary.
Warning2: Don't do this if you don't know what you're doing.

Sec. 1: inside the distro, fixing the package manager
1. update-crypto-policies --set LEGACY
2. Close wsl Window and Open powershell: wsl --shutdown
3. Go back to wsl
4. rpm --import https://repo.almalinux.org/almalinux/RPM-GPG-KEY-AlmaLinux
5. rpm --import https://repo.almalinux.org/almalinux/RPM-GPG-KEY-AlmaLinux-9
6. dnf upgrade almalinux-release --nogpgcheck -y
7. cd /var/lib/rpm
8. rm -rf __db*
9. rpm -vv --rebuilddb
10. mv ../rpmrebuilddb.<numbers>/* ./
11. touch Packages
12. cd ~
13. dnf install dnf-plugins-core sqlite libdb-utils -y
14. dnf upgrade -y
15. dnf config-manager --set-enabled crb
16. dnf install epel-release elrepo-release -y
17. rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-EPEL-9
18. rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-elrepo.org
19. Enable RPM Fusion repository.
20. dnf install ncurses mousepad fastfetch -y
21. update-crypto-policies --set DEFAULT:SHA1
22. Close wsl Window and Open powershell: wsl --shutdown

Sec. 2: inside powershell, update wsl and convert crb wsl backends to wsl2
1. Run PowerShell or Windows Terminal as administrator.
2. Go to here to update the WSL2 Kernel.
3. wsl --shutdown
4. wsl --set-version crb 2
5. Go to C:\Users\<yourusername>\
6. Create file called:

.wslconfig

7. Add these text inside .wslconfig and save it:

[wsl2]
guiapplications=true

8. wsl --shutdown

Sec. 3: inside the distro, testing GUI apps
1. Go run mousepad and check if mousepad is showing up.
2. If it is, enjoy.

Little FAQ

Q1: Ain't it gonna broke functionality of CRB Kitchen itself?
A1: Suprisingly no, just extracted sweet_k6a xiaomi.eu rom with it, and it works normally.

Q2: Why did you do this?
A2: I need Linux version of MIO Kitchen, but installing another OS on my laptop ain't worth the time and effort, and since CRB Backend was Linux, i just go and messed around with CRB Backends to see what's up and here we are.

Update: This worked with CRB 3.3.9 too (the backend is still the same AlmaLinux on 3.2.7)
