#DataBreachAlert: GCash User Data Allegedly Sold on Dark Web — Millions of Accounts Affected
A data leak allegedly involving a PH bank G-Xchange/GCash has surfaced on a dark web forum. The post, made by a user named Oversleep8351, claims to be selling records from 2019 up to October 2025, including eKYC (Know Your Customer) information, linked bank accounts, and GCash numbers.
According to the listing, the data includes both merchant and basic users — with personal details such as names, addresses, employment, and even valid Philippine IDs. The seller claims the dump contains up to 7–8 million users, offered in bundles priced up to $25,000, payable only through Monero (XMR) cryptocurrency.
The forum post states that all data is “unorganized,” meaning it must be sorted manually, and that the seller will only deal with “existing buyers” from previous dark web transactions.
If confirmed, this would be one of the largest alleged data leaks involving a Philippine fintech company to date.

You know, on software side, if those said software became so stable, it would become so boring.
For example, Wayland display server on Linux. I just need to install GNOME and its deps, and i set. No need to worry about anything. Probably worrying about HDMI but then it's because my dGPU is sleeping almost all the time and i need to wake it up to send a signal to the HDMI. So at the end it's either working flawlessly, or not at all.
Meanwhile on X11 display server on Linux, i still need to worry about the compositor being assholes, tearing being assholes again, setting up TearFree to true on xorg configs which somehow didn't exist for Intel UHD Graphics back then. But i had to found a way to fix it and the process of doing it is fun. Or not if you didn't found the fix for it.
i probably malding about display right now because i am using a laptop, which some of the options that usually found on the internet didn't really apply to the system that i actually use. I might still gonna use X11 on a desktop if i have one, but i still gonna use wayland on a laptop.
But fr, like GNOME, again, they introduced libAdwaita on GNOME 40, most peeps hated it, mostly because how unthemeable it is, but then at the same time those said libs attracted ton of developers to make and build new simple apps for GNOME. This is the exact reason why KDE not having a simple apps once.
Meh, it's probaby because me liking something simple and works out of the box immediately.

Kinda half agree with aryan with this one, on aosp side ofc the latest one always better since you got the latest patches, fixes, and whatnot from latest code that the developer do
what i not agree is on porting side, since there's no source code, we gotta rely on modding/replacing files, which sometimes is making the system unstable, and on newer android versions, more files needed to be relaced to make it work.

Fedora released Rawhide Pre-release KDE ISO on their website, accidentally...
I was installing Fedora 43 earlier just because I like it but, I was literally figuring out on how to fix the installer, they even named the top-right as "Fedora 43," then it gave me a weird error while installing it, and I still tried to boot it.
And guess what? I installed a pre-release version that shouldn't be exist in public. How Fedora made a big mistake on this shit? 🥀
