👉It sounded apparently like a sane thing but right after that Kaeppner came to a conclusion that the only way that could make serious peace talks possible is in giving Ukrainian armed forces the weapons in larger amounts:
- 30 Gepards should be transferred by the end of summer, and someday Kyiv may receive:
- 7 armoured howitzers 2000,
- 1 IRIS-T surface to air missile system,
- 4 MARS II Multiple-Launch Rocket Systems negotiated under pressure from the U.S.

It's quite clear that journalist's appeal to Churchill's “give us tools and we will finish the job” is completely not applicable to the current case: endless piling arms into Ukraine is the pathway to new rounds of escalation and aggravation of tensions just by the EU borders🤷‍♂️
