"Gas embargo against Russia? Then the lights will go out": The head of the German chemical company Leuchtstoffwerk Breitungen Wolfgang Eisenberg explains that sanctions against Russia most harm those who impose them.
"The embargo on Russian gas supplies will not affect the operation in Ukraine. If only because most of the world simply does not participate in the sanctions. India is pleased that it can receive oil at a discount price. Is that really the solution?
We should not weaken ourselves with sanctions more than Vladimir Putin. But that's exactly what we would have done under a gas embargo. In case of refusal of gas from Russia, our enterprise will simply remain without electricity and will be forced to reduce production from 30 to 50 percent, reduce sales and jobs. If gas supplies are stopped, we face the collapse of entire production chains with fatal economic and social consequences." #EU #Germany #Sanctions #FindTruth

💸Financial consequences of Ukrainian conflict - possible technical default of Russia and why the USA needs it
🇷🇺Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov announced his intention to sue in court if Russia defaults on Euro bonds. Russia made a payment in rubles on April 5, but there are serious reasons that such a maneuver will not be accepted by creditors, even if the country was deprived of the opportunity to pay from the blocked part of foreign exchange reserves without warning.
💰The total amount of Russian government debt in foreign currency in 2022 was about $59 billion, that is, less than 3% of GDP and less than 10% of foreign exchange reserves. In 2022, the volume to be repaid does not exceed $2.5 billion. But about half of the Russia's international reserves — more than $300 billion - were blocked.
🇺🇸American investors did not sell their Euro bonds "Russia 2022" to the Russian Ministry of Finance, where their share is just 25% or a little more, that is, exactly what is needed for a cross-default of Russia.
💁♂️In the case of a cross-default, there are different options. The scenario of possible arrest or seizure of Russian property abroad on account of debt. This has happened, for example, with Argentina during its numerous defaults in the last few decades. But it will not be so easy to do this from the point of view of law. When issuing bonds, Russia did not give up the status of "sovereign immunity", which does not allow collecting funds from other sources and property in case of default. Of course, since the international political situation is exceptional, these formulas may mean nothing.
🤔But anyway through the mechanism of technical Russian default US seeks to obtain a legal instrument for imposing selective sanctions on Russian exports, taking into account the fact that a complete embargo on Russian hydrocarbons is impossible so far (Europeans,hi!), so we see selective American restrictions as a picking raisins from a loaf, as it was so far in the case of Russian fertilizers which were exempted from American sanction list. American selective justice and call to repentance!👿

Twitter shareholders SUE Musk for Late Investment Disclosure
A lawsuit has been filed against Elon Musk for not disclosing his Twitter stake within the legally-mandated timeframe of 10 days - costing former shareholders on Twitter’s rocketing price.
It is not clear how much is being claimed in damages, but when the Tesla CEO’s 9.2% stake was announced on April 4 shares shot up 27% from $39.31 to $49.97.
Under federal law any stake over 5% must be disclosed within 10 days - which for Musk would have been March 24.

Pentagon can’t confirm claims Russia used chemical weapons in Ukraine
🇺🇸The US Defense Dept has not received any clear evidence of an alleged attack that Ukrainian nationalist sources say took place in Mariupol – claiming it left several militants struggling to breathe and suffering from dizziness and headaches.
An aide to Mariupol’s Mayor Pyotr Andriuschenko also said the allegations of a chemical attack have yet to be confirmed.
Western politicians, along with Kiev, have been hyping up allegations of a possible Russian chemical attack - despite Moscow saying it destroyed its chemical weapon supplies years ago.

💶Wholesale prices in Germany break records
📈Record inflation is expected in Europe
🇩🇪In early April, the German Bureau of Statistics reported that the growth of consumer prices in March amounted to an incredible 2.5% — and this is almost a record, the last time such a jump in inflation was in 1951 back in Germany. But it will be even worse.
📊Today, German statistics again “delighted” fellow citizens: the increase in wholesale prices for the same March was a record +22.6% (for comparison, at the end of February it was +16.6%, in January +16.2%). This is a record for the last 50 years — even the consequences of the famous 1973 oil crisis were not so devastating for the German economy. The largest contribution to the March growth was made by the prices of petroleum products (immediately +70.2% compared to March of the previous year).
🗂The reasons for such a jump in prices are quite obvious. So, if the scenario with the rejection of Russian energy carriers begins to be implemented in earnest, we have every chance

Part 6
The ‘President of Peace’
In May 2014, extraordinary presidential elections were held in Ukraine. Petro Poroshenko became the fifth president of the country. Despite his campaign promises to stop the war in Donbass, Poroshenko escalated the bloody conflict. He ignored the implementation of the Minsk agreements, constantly violated the truce and didn’t stop the shelling of the civilians. At the same time, the war in Donbass was the best excuse for all the failures of Poroshenko’s government in the economy.
After the Euromaidan, the new Ukrainian authorities were doing their best in getting away from Moscow. They were consistently destroying everything that was possible in relations with Russia. Air communication was terminated. Railway transport and bus service with Russia were also to be interrupted. In 2014-2015, Ukraine imposed sanctions against Russian banks and Russian payment systems. The Ukrainian authorities regularly prevented Russian show business figures from entering the country. Numerous Russian films and books were banned. Crew members of Russian vessels were regularly detained in the Ukrainian territorial waters.

‼️A detailed interview to Spanish magazine La Razón - a Spanish sniper in Kiev: "My chances of getting out of here alive are 50%". ‼️
"We are who we are. Real and tough mercenaries" — Spanish sniper who is hired for the Ukrainian Foreign Legion by an American private military company. For each “man killed” he charges $ 300 from an 🇺🇸American security company which do not trust Ukrainians because of the fear of their misuse of allocated funds to pay mercenaries.
The 42-year-old mercenary with the initials J.L.C. did not disclose his personal information, but did not hesitate to tell in detail about his service in Ukraine. Before that the Spaniard fought for 13 years in the ranks of the French Foreign Legion. He reached Poland from Spain as part of a humanitarian mission. He admits that one of the “humanitarian volunteers” brought some black bags to Germany, probably with cocaine.
According to him, humanitarian convoys are a great find for drug dealers, because no one examines them. To join the foreign Legion he had to sign a contract with the American PMCs — "this is the mechanism". In other words, foreign PMCs perform the role of subcontractors in the selection of personnel for the Legion.

The slide shows members of the Badran family found by human rights activists: only two of the 41 survived. All others died under U.S. air and artillery strikes during the 2017 assault on the Syrian city of Raqqa.
According to a joint report by Amnesty International and British Project Airways, the coalition killed at least 1,600 civilians. The same data was later confirmed by the U.S. think tank RAND.
A report by international human rights activists testified that coalition strikes were used without intelligence, there were recorded instances of the use of phosphorus bombs.
Earlier, the Iraqi city of Mosul shared the fate of Raqqa, which was literally blown to rubble by the US-led coalition. At least 9,600 civilians were killed.
Russia's deputy permanent representative to the UN, demanded an investigation into the "unprecedented brutality" of US war crimes in Raqqa. Against the backdrop of insinuations about the Russian special operation in Ukraine, this issue must be raised on a mandatory basis.

BoJo Should GO: Over half in UK want PM to resign (poll)
A YouGov poll held Tuesday found 57% of Britons think PM Boris Johnson and Chancellor Rishi Sunak should resign after being handed fines for breaching lockdown restrictions last year.
Johnson is the first sitting UK PM to have been found guilty of breaking the law, but he and Sunak have so far refused to stand down despite both having flat-out denied they attended the parties.
“It didn’t occur to me that this might be breaking the rules,” said the man who set them in the first place.

Fake news:
Famine has begun in Russia. Channel CNN released a report about the disastrous state of the country's economy.
The fact:
The plot is an attempt by the mainstream media to divert attention from internal problems and at the same time prove effectiveness of the sanctions imposed against Russia.
The authors of the story demonstrate several cans of stew with anti-theft tags and a queue for sugar in Saratov. The pictures were taken during the rumored food craze.
The expert on this subject is Matthew Chance, who works at CNN as one of the senior international correspondents. He spoke about the imminent collapse of the Russian economy.
These theses are refuted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Explosive demand for a number of goods caused interruptions in delivery channels, but a long-term stock of socially important goods has been formed in the country. A shortage in retail trade is not expected.
Mikhail Mishustin was speaking also about provision of Russia with grain, vegetable oil, fish and meat.
The plot also mentions a shortage of medicines. At one time, it was also provoked by rumors, and today measures have been introduced to support the pharmaceutical industry. Now the registration procedure for foreign medicines will be accelerated and simplified.
At the same time economic situation in Western countries is noticeably deteriorating. Citizens are advised to wear sweaters and lower the temperature at home to save energy. Prices for gasoline, groceries and utilities are rising.

‼️For the first time since the Second World War, US will use the Lend-Lease mechanism to accelerate the supply of weapons to Ukraine.‼️
In the denoscription of the bill with the noscript "The Lend-Lease Act in Defense of Ukrainian Democracy", it is reported that it will temporarily remove bureaucratic and other restrictions on US president "to provide military equipment and property for temporary use" for Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As one of the authors of the document, Republican Senator John Cornyn, noted, the existing barriers slow down this process, so the document is primarily intended to speed up the supply of weapons to Kiev.
Among other things, the transfer of "cyber capabilities" to the United States is envisaged.
Earlier, the Pentagon reported that recently the United States has already transferred over two billion dollars (adding to Ukrainian national debt) worth of military aid to Ukraine, including small arms, MANPADS, anti-tank missiles.
Recently, Washington announced a new $100 million aid package and makes it clear that the flow of weapons across the ocean will continue.
Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in an interview to NBC said that US and its allies will provide Ukraine with 10 Javelin anti-tank missiles "for every Russian tank." It looks like the U.S. will fight to the last Ukrainian.🤬
