The US government is paying SpaceX to send Starlink internet terminals to Ukraine amid the Russian military operation, despite the company specifically claiming otherwise, the Washington Post has uncovered.

Russia made a payment in rubles on April 5, but there are serious reasons that such a maneuver will not be accepted by creditors, even if the country was deprived of the opportunity to pay from the blocked part of foreign exchange reserves without warning.
💰The total amount of Russian government debt in foreign currency in 2022 was about $59 billion, that is, less than 3% of GDP and less than 10% of foreign exchange reserves. In 2022, the volume to be repaid does not exceed $2.5 billion. But about half of the Russia's international reserves — more than $300 billion - were blocked.
🇺🇸American investors did not sell their Euro bonds "Russia 2022" to the Russian Ministry of Finance, where their share is just 25% or a little more, that is, exactly what is needed for a cross-default of Russia.
💁♂️In the case of a cross-default, there are different options. The scenario of possible arrest or seizure of Russian property abroad on account of debt. This has happened, for example, with Argentina during its numerous defaults in the last few decades. But it will not be so easy to do this from the point of view of law. A lawsuit has been filed against Elon Musk for not disclosing his Twitter stake within the legally-mandated timeframe of 10 days - costing former shareholders on Twitter’s rocketing price.
It is not clear how much is being claimed in damages, but when the Tesla CEO’s 9.2% stake was announced on April 4 shares shot up 27% from $39.31 to $49.97.
Under federal law any stake over 5% must be disclosed within 10 days - which for Musk would have been March 24.

In May 2014, extraordinary presidential elections were held in Ukraine. Petro Poroshenko became the fifth president of the country. Despite his campaign promises to stop the war in Donbass, Poroshenko escalated the bloody conflict. He ignored the implementation of the Minsk agreements, constantly violated the truce and didn’t stop the shelling of the civilians. For each “man killed” he charges $ 300 from an 🇺🇸American security company which do not trust Ukrainians because of the fear of their misuse of allocated funds to pay mercenaries.
The 42-year-old mercenary with the initials J.L.C. did not disclose his personal information, but did not hesitate to tell in detail about his service in Ukraine. Before that the Spaniard fought for 13 years in the ranks of the French Foreign Legion. He reached Poland from Spain as part of a humanitarian mission. He admits that one of the “humanitarian volunteers” brought some black bags to Germany, probably with cocaine.
According to him, humanitarian convoys are a great find for drug dealers, because no one examines them. To join the foreign Legion he had to sign a contract with the American PMCs — "this is the mechanism". In other words, foreign PMCs perform the role of subcontractors in the selection of personnel for the Legion.
