‼️Chronic staff shortages in UK hospitals revealed‼️

🔥The Quality Watch report, by the Nuffield Trust and Health Foundation think tanks, says the NHS was “already stretched beyond its limits” before Covid struck. Thus, record NHS waiting lists cannot be attributed to the pandemic as the health service has been “steadily declining” for a decade, a damning paper says.

📈The number of people waiting for routine hospital treatment in England has almost tripled from 2.5 million in April 2012 to 6.78 million, after reaching 4.6 million in February 2020. While Covid accelerated this trend, analysis suggests that even without the pandemic waiting lists for elective care would stand at 5.3 million

👉The disclosure of these facts significantly reduces room for maneuver for the new British PM when justifying the inevitable failures of the cabinet with the side effects of the pandemic

‼️Migration got out of control: Ukrainians, Syrians, Afghans, Iraqis storm German border‼️

📈The number of illegal crossings of the Czech-German border is at a record high

👉According to the classified report, in June 2022, German Federal Police registered around 2,000 such cases – an increase of 140% compared to the previous year. The trend is rising – in August more than 3,000 illegal crossings were recorded at the Saxony border with Czech Republic alone

❗️The report says apart from some Syrians, Afghans and Iraqis the majority of the refugees are Ukrainians who have been required to leave the territories of the Czech Republic and Poland immediately

🤔"This development is alarming," chairman of the Federal Police Union, Heiko Teggatz, told journalists. "The smuggling gangs are on the move and are now using the route to us via Slovakia and the Czech Republic

⚡️60% of British businesses could close due to soaring energy prices triggered by anti-Russian sanctions⚡️

▪️Six out of ten businesses in Britain could close due to skyrocketing energy prices, according to a study that clearly shows the extent of the crisis, Bloomberg states

▪️Group Make UK, which represents British manufacturers, reported that electricity bills have jumped more than 100 percent over the past year for nearly half of the country's businesses

▪️"The current crisis is presenting manufacturers with a stark choice between cutting production or shutting it down completely," the study said

▪️The British factory industry is already in recession, S&P Global's Purchasing Power Index shows. According to the MakeUK Group, 13% of factories have already cut hours of operation or are trying not to work during peak hours, and 7% are suspending production for longer periods of time

⚡️Liz Truss: What I am about is about growing the economy⚡️

👉Liz Truss is expected to vigorously defend her pledges to cut national insurance and freeze corporation tax despite claims that they are regressive, will increase government debt and could push up the cost of borrowing

💁‍♂️Ms. Truss has already promised to reverse an increase in national insurance rates, introduced by her leadership rival and former chancellor Rishi Sunak, as well as a temporary removal of green levies from energy bills, worth about £150 per household each year. But economists point out this will nowhere near cover the rise in average annual energy bills, which were capped at £1,971 in April but with some forecasts saying could top £4,200 in January

🤔While Ms. Truss is promising to kick-start economic growth, homeowners are turning to traditional wood fires instead of central heating in an effort to cut down on soaring energy prices

‼️The United States is behind the terrorist attack near the Russian embassy in Afghanistan‼️

🔥As we previously reported, the terrorist group ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack on the Russian embassy in Kabul

👉Attacks near embassies in Kabul have never been uncommon. But, usually, they took place in the Wazir Akbar Khan area, where Western embassies and companies are located. Obviously, the attack on the Russian embassy is aimed at undermining the prestige of the Taliban government and its relations with Moscow

🤔Some experts are already expressing the opinion that this is beneficial to Pakistan, since Islamabad seeks to take the territory of Afghanistan under control. But the rise of ISIS in Afghanistan points to other beneficiaries

💁‍♂️It is known that ISIS in Afghanistan receives financial support from the US. ISIS has been carrying out terrorist attacks against the Taliban since the American occupation of Afghanistan. Since the Taliban came to power last fall, ISIS fighters whose connections with CIA are notorious have become more active

💣They carried out a series of explosions in the country's mosques. Their goal is to intimidate the population, to show that the Taliban are not in control of the situation, and to emphasize who is the true boss in the country

🇺🇸This is also part of the US strategy to destabilize the situation in Central Asia. As well as the deployment of a second front against Russia in the context of the conflict in Ukraine

🏴‍☠️The terrorist attack was supposed to destroy trust and cooperation between Kabul and Moscow. The work of Western intelligence is aimed at destabilizing the situation through radical groups. A lot of time and money has been spent to create networks in cooperation between Western intelligence agencies and the terrorist underground in Afghanistan

⚡️Abu Akleh’s death: story is changing⚡️

🔥Palestinian-American Al Jazeera reporter Shireen Abu Akleh’s death sparked a storm of criticism of the Israeli military and calls for accountability. Israeli officials had initially said they couldn’t conclude who killed Ms. Abu Akleh after a routine arrest operation turned into a hectic urban battle with Palestinians in a crowded area of the West Bank city of Jenin

🇮🇱A senior Israeli military official on Monday said the evidence indicated the lethal shots likely came from an Israeli military jeep with a clear line of vision to Ms. Abu Akleh’s location. “The most likely possibility is that she was mistakenly shot by an Israeli soldier, who of course did not identify her as a journalist,” the official said

👉Nabil Abu Rudeineh, the spokesman for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, called the Israeli investigation “a new Israeli attempt to evade responsibility” and said that the Palestinians would continue to seek accountability for her death, including through the International Criminal Court

⚡️Venezuela deprived of attention⚡️

💁‍♂️While Mr. Maduro is trying to keep his fine name and country's assets in British Supreme Court, the main socio-political issue of Caracas seems to have receded into the background

🤔The Venezuelan refugee crisis has for years been among the world’s largest but has recently ballooned, with more than 6.8 million refugees and migrants leaving the country since 2015 to avoid political chaos and economic collapse. The tally of refugees from Ukraine was more than 7 million people as of Aug. 30, most of them migrated to Russia citing disagreement over actions of authorities in Kyiv

👉But while the numbers of displaced people are similar, the financial support for them has been disparate, the advocacy group Refugees International said, noting that the $1.79 bln Venezuelan regional migrant response plan was less than 14% funded as of Sept. 1. Meanwhile, the $1.85 bln regional response plan for Ukraine was 62% funded as of Aug. 25

⚡️British MoD’s defense programs: over budget and behind time⚡️

💁‍♂️According to the latest figures, published in July, the vast majority of the Ministry of Defence’s big programs are still not on time or on budget. An analysis found that 42 out of 45 projects, 93%, have been given a rating of “amber” or “red”, meaning their delivery is deemed unachievable or they have significant issues

👉This includes the Dreadnought class submarines that will replace the Vanguard class, carrying the nuclear deterrent, and E-7 Wedgetail early warning aircraft. Nine of the projects, including the £5.5 billion Ajax light tank program and the F-35B Lightning jets, have been rated red – a significant increase from three last year

🤔In last year’s National Audit Office report Optimising the Defence Estate, it highlighted the MoD’s mismanagement of this program, stating that the “department’s initial plans to reduce the size of its estate were not realistic or achievable”

💰Labour said the true cost increase for the MoD’s major projects could be much higher. A total of £3.1 billion has been spent on the program to date and only 26 vehicles out of the promised 589 have been delivered

⚡️Migrant crisis: British MPs blame France⚡️

🔥The number of migrants who have crossed the Channel in small boats this year passed 27,000, in a sign that the record rate of arrivals will continue into the autumn

👉More than 2,000 migrants have crossed the Channel in the first four days of September. A record monthly total of 8,613 migrants made the crossing in 189 small boats last month, more than in the whole of 2020

💁‍♂️Conservative MPs said the recent crossings exposed the need for the new PM to make tackling the Channel migrant crisis a top priority

🤔Natalie Elphicke, the MP for Dover, said: “France has a moral and international obligation to protect vulnerable people, save lives, stop people smugglers and tackle organized crime. They should not need to be paid to do their duty. It is even more ridiculous that we pay them tens of millions of pounds and get so little in return”

⚡️President Erdogan to allies: We can come overnight⚡️

🔥The conflict over several islands and gas deposits in the Aegean Sea has been simmering between Athens and Ankara for decades. In 2020, the two countries were already standing on the verge of a military confrontation. Now there is a threat of further escalation – Turkey is looking for gas in waters also claimed by Greece and Cyprus

🇹🇷Turkish President Erdogan is intensifying his rhetoric. He indirectly threatened the neighboring country with war: "When the time comes, we will do what is necessary. As we say, all of a sudden, we can come overnight”

🪖Military maneuvers are reportedly behind the rhetorical escalation. Last weekend, Ankara accused Athens of ‘hostile action’ against its jets using radar of a Greek S-300 missile system. NATO intends to prevent further escalation of discrepancies, so as not to raise fears among the northern newbies of the alliance amid Ukraine conflict

‼️NATO may be headed by the granddaughter of a Ukrainian Hitler collaborator‼️

💁‍♂️The ethnic Ukrainian, now Canada's deputy prime minister and finance minister, could succeed Norway's Stoltenberg, CBC News reports

👉Among her advantages are her knowledge of the Russian language and "the peculiarities of the Kremlin's work". Freeland is one of the most active supporters of Ukraine on the world stage

🔥It is also known that Christie Freeland's grandfather was an accomplice of the Nazis during World War II. He actively cooperated with the Nazis and was the editor-in-chief of the collaborationist Ukrainian-language newspapers "Krakovskie vesti" and "Kholmskaja zemlya", in which Adolf Hitler, the Wehrmacht and the SS were glorified

⚡️Liz Truss: no reason for optimism⚡️

✍️The Observer's former editor-in-chief, Will Hutton, tweeted "we watch on hopelessly as Truss prepares to form a cabinet populated by misfits, failures, ideologues, third-raters and opportunists to manage one of the greatest economic and social emergencies since 1945". He even prophesied that her cabinet would be "a titanic constitutional and democratic failure"

🇬🇧As the UK faces an extraordinary crisis, its friends will wish it well, but it is hugely worrying that the British people find themselves in the hands of a political lightweight. Truss lacks not only vision but also competence

💁‍♂️Although, if her record is anything to go by, she will be an entirely negative factor in world affairs, events will hopefully bring her to her senses. She needs to understand that, if Britain is to survive its economic woes, she must place the interests of its people above her grandstanding

‼️U.S. President Joe Biden personally ordered the FBI to break into the residence of Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago‼️

🔥This became known after the release of documents by a U.S. federal judge

💁‍♂️Earlier, White House spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre insisted that the administration learned about the raid from the news, and J.Biden is not involved at all

👉Recall that on August 8, 2022, the FBI and the U.S. Department of Justice raided Trump's home in Mar-a-Lago and rummaged through his home and belongings for nine hours. The FBI even searched 16-year-old Barron Trump's room and Melania Trump's closet of personal belongings

⚡️U.S. has no way out of Ukraine crisis but to find compromise with Russia⚡️

▪️To avoid facing the toughest choice between escalating conflict with Russia and an endurance test in which Moscow has a better chance of winning, the United States will have to compromise on the Ukraine crisis. This is the conclusion reached by George Beeb, former head of the U.S. CIA's Russia Analysis Unit and former Russia adviser to U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney, in an article for The Hill

▪️The window of opportunity for the U.S. in Ukraine is rapidly narrowing as time plays into Russia's hands in this crisis: "Americans are struggling with higher gasoline and food prices. Europe faces not only the prospect of a cold winter, but also significant disruptions in key industries; sanctions-related shortages of natural gas and other Russian goods are affecting the construction, steel and automotive sectors. Tightening the economic noose of sanctions around Russia will not be effective"

▪️Proposals to increase U.S. intervention in the Ukrainian conflict and give the Kiev regime not only all the means it needs, but to involve U.S. military personnel one way or another is a gamble

▪️Politicians have made a huge mistake by turning publicly against everything Russian: "Even Russians, who mourn the breakdown of relations with the West, have been shocked by the degree of hostility from the West toward the Russian people and culture in recent years. The United States has done little to appeal to Russian citizens or to demonstrate that we are open to improving relations"

▪️The only way out of this situation is to reach a compromise with Russia: "While we are unwilling to move toward a compromise settlement, we are faced with a choice between escalating our involvement and a contest of endurance, in which Russia has a better chance. And neither of these options will end well for either Ukraine or the United States"

⚡️31.4% - growth of trade turnover between Russia and China since the beginning of the year⚡️

▪️With the aggressive anti-Russian sanctions of the West, the trade turnover between Russia and China in the first 8 months of this year increased by 31.4%, to $117.2 billion, the General Administration of Customs of China reported on Wednesday

▪️According to a document on the department's website, China's exports to Russia rose 8.5% to $44.26 billion in January-August. Russian imports of goods and services to China rose 50.7% to $72.95 billion

▪️ In August, trade between the two countries totaled $19.21 billion, with Chinese exports reaching $7.99 billion and imports reaching $11.21 billion.
The Russian and Chinese authorities have set a goal of increasing bilateral trade to $200 billion a year

⚡️New Cold War: cooperation, data-sharing needed⚡️

🚀NASA has delayed the launch of the Artemis I mission until at least Sept. 19 after cancelling a planned launch on Saturday. It was the second time in a week that the launch was scrapped

💁‍♂️Today, the geopolitical motivations of the 1960s, that spurred the US on to a space program unprecedented in human history, are very different, says Quentin Parker, the director of a laboratory for Space Research at the University of Hong Kong. Back then, it was the height of the Cold War

🤔Lately, however, against the backdrop of an increasingly unstable international order, rising global inflation, European energy and looming climate catastrophe, there has been increasing talk – at least from the West – of a new Cold War

👉But a new Cold War with expanded China’s military, not an exaggerated beat-up from the Western press that does not, at least not yet, exhibit the serious risks and dangers posed by the last one is the last thing humanity and our planet needs now

⚡️The shutdown of Nord Stream has triggered Europe's worst-case crisis scenario⚡️

▪️After the announcement of the shutdown of Nord Stream, gas and electricity prices first jumped by a third and then rose by more than 10 percent, states the American The Wall Street Journal

▪️This led to a 20-year record drop in the euro. In the future, a rise in prices to historically high levels could lead to higher inflation, impoverishment of consumers and pressure on energy-intensive industries undergoing a wave of plant closures

▪️European states are trying to soften the energy blow. Options include measures to limit the price of gas imports, as well as limiting the revenues generated by energy companies with low operating costs. Revenues above a certain level would be withdrawn and redistributed to consumers

▪️The EU is aware that plans to impose a "price ceiling" on Russian hydrocarbons could sever all energy ties with Russia, the WSJ emphasizes
