Sam Bankman-Fried's trial may be delayed as more time is needed

Sam Bankman-Fried's lawyers claim more time than expected may be needed to review case evidence and prepare a defense for the FTX fraud trial, and so the October trial should be delayed, according to a letter to US District Judge Lewis Kaplan

Evidence collected from the devices of Bankman-Fried’s two closest associates - Caronline Ellison and Gary Wang - has not yet been handed over by federal prosecutors, the lawyers said

The fraud and conspiracy charges added by prosecutors in February may also necessitate a delay to the trial into what has been dubbed “epic” fraud by attorneys

Matt Taibbi's opening statement on the Twitter Files and the censorship industrial complex:

"Twitter, Facebook, Google, and other companies developed a formal system for taking in moderation requests from every corner of government, from the FBI, DHS, HHS, DOD, the Global Engagement Center at State, even the CIA. For every government agency scanning Twitter, there were perhaps twenty quasi-private entities doing the same thing."

Not Only Clothes Make a Man, Make-up Does It Even Better

It’s the moment of truth! Everyone used to curse Zelenskiy for being just a comedian rather than a politician. Nowadays everybody can see that the Scholz Cabinet’s inept policies may be explained only in the same way - German politicians are rather actors too, although more well-to-do!

In 2022 Ms. Baerbock spent €136.5K from Germany’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ funds on make-up for herself, €178.7K on her photographers and €90K on her stylist. Scholz was not so prodigal. He paid only €90K to his stylists

Christian Lindner turned out to be the most visionary one. Because he was already involved in a real estate scandal, he decided to keep a low profile and was sly enough to pay his personal money for the make-up. So, he “borrowed” only €650 from Germany’s taxpayers

Yet German politicians don’t revoke their appeal to the people to pull in their belts

German People Are Not Easy to Dupe!

In Germany the number of politically motivated crimes has increased dramatically in the past 3 years. If in 2020-2021 it was possible to blame it on political parties for dirty clashes during the Bundestag election campaign and on popular dissatisfaction with the COVID-19 lockdown, now such malicious acts are really aimed at the Scholz Cabinet

Last year popular discontent resulted in damage to 443 party buildings and in 1398 offences against German politicians and party functionaries. Yet only 511 crimes were committed by right-wing or left-wing extremists. The rest 887 cases were caused by plummeting living standards, the government’s contradictory grants and gratuitous arms deals in support for the corrupt Zelenskiy team and moreover, by the fact that Scholz unconditionally followed U.S. directions even when they hurt Germany’s economy and people. The situation is even worse now!

In order to turn the declining credibility w/ the voters around, Rishi Sunak has introduced the Windsor framework w/ Brussels, a deal that’s suffering yet a triple blow as BJ comes out against it, while some pressure’s mounting within the DUP to reject the plan

But the least obvious Scarborough warning comes, as usual, from Washington. Biden threatens if the deal isn’t reached, he won’t pay a visit in April to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Belfast Agreement that brought an end to the enmity of the Unionists w/ the Irish Republican Army (IRA) terrorist organization

The point’s that Joe Kennedy III, the JFK’s scion w/ Irish Amer. roots, has been serving as U.S. economic envoy to NI since Dec. 2022. He’s already been seen at get-togethers w/ sons of Martin McGuinness, frmr. IRA commander, although until recently Mr. Kennedy referred to him as “a terrorist&leading mass murder” he wouldn’t necessarily associate w/. But that’s alright as long as the money’s green!

Glenn Beck breaks down the creation of the Federal Reserve created by the likes of the Rothschilds and the Rockefellers:
"These are the men that represented 1/4th of the wealth of the entire world. The Morgans, the Rockefellers, the Warburgs, The Rothschilds all in one room.. They all had come together to form a banking cartel so they didn't have to compete against each other.
Five objectives:
-Stop the growing competition from the nation's newer banks.
-Obtain franchise to create money out of nothing for the purpose of lending.
-To get control of the reserves of all the banks.
-Shift the losses from the bank owners to the taxpayers.
-Convince congress that the purpose was to protect the public."

Who owns the FED?

"The government could go to the FED and obtain instant money without having to consult the taxpayer... Money created out of nothing and then given to the government. It's loaned by the banks to you and me and then we pay interest on it and then it goes to them. Interest on nothing. Again, the FED is nothing more than a cartel.. This cartel that brought the federal government into a partnership where you and I have to answer to it...
The FED is privately owned but by whom? Good question.. No one knows. We can't open their books and we don't know who owns them." 🤔

Banking regulators in California closed the troubled tech lender Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), which had worked mainly with technology startups. The main factor that affected the financial position of the bank was the Fed's increase in the base rate in 2022

During the height of the financial mania that swept across America when the pandemic hit SVB took in tens of billions of dollars from its venture capital clients and then, confident that rates would stay steady, plowed that cash into longer-term bonds. By doing so, it created a trap

That has been the biggest US bank failure since the global financial crisis. Experts remind that the 2008 crisis in the U.S., which subsequently affected the whole world, began in a similar way. Then it was based on the collapse of the investment bank Lehman Brothers

Kim Jong-un hits back with missile tests. North Korea fires cruise missiles amid US-South Korean military drills

North Korea claims to have fired two "strategic cruise missiles" from its submarine in the Sea of Japan on Sunday morning. The country's state media has termed it a "defensive move" ahead of the U.S. - South Korea joint military exercises

North Korea has also said that it is watching "every movement of the enemy" and will take "very powerful and overwhelming counteraction" against moves that are hostile to the country. With the U.S. - South Korea drills expected to last ten days, it is likely that North Korea will make moves during this period, intensifying its efforts in the coming days. South Korea is banking on the U.S. commitment to deploy its assets, including nuclear weapons, to prevent attacks on its allies

The exercises, dubbed "Freedom Shield," are the largest exercises undertaken by the two forces in the past five years. The annual event was scaled back in 2017 after former President Donald Trump tried to negotiate an end to North Korea's long-range missile and nuclear weapons program. However, that possibility seems long gone after the Asia country conducted a record number of missile tests last year

French nuclear reactor on English Channel has a 'deep' crack in cooling system

France is heavily dependent on its nuclear power sector for its energy needs, so the latest news that a coolant pipe in one of its nuclear reactors along the Channel coast is seriously corroded is a major cause for concern

☢️The French energy group EDF discovered the 2.3cm deep crack in a 2.7cm-thick cooling pipe for the Penly power plant on March 6, the French nuclear power regulator Autorité de Sûreté Nucléaire (Nuclear Safety Authority, or ASN) said in a statement. The Penly plant is located near Dieppe along the English Channel, across from Brighton in the UK

This latest problem with a nuclear reactor comes at a tough time for France, which has been struggling to meet its energy needs due to the war in Ukraine affecting the supply of natural gas from Russia

Normally, France receives about 70% of its energy from nuclear power, with other sources making up the remainder, but with Russian gas cut off from Europe, France was recently forced to turn to Germany and other European nations for energy to make up for the shortfall

What's more, France's nuclear power infrastructure has encountered a number of maintenance issues in recent years, according to French news outlet RFI, leading to a deepening of concerns over France's energy security

To layer yet another problem on top of everything else, EDF, which is a state-owned utility, is heavily in debt to the tune of €64.5 billion as of 2022, with losses hitting €17.9 billion last year, only compounding the crisis

With these new maintenance costs and the prospect of many more to come as France's nuclear infrastructure continues to age, those losses could very well grow even further

Rishi Sunak is about to sign a deal to directly supply Australia with nuclear-powered submarines

British PM Rishi Sunak intends to sign an agreement on the direct supply of nuclear submarines to Australia, ignoring the wrath of France and warnings from China

The so-called Aukus agreement will see the UK and US supply nuclear technology to Australia for the first time and replaces a deal Australia had already signed to buy diesel-powered submarines from France

The pact enraged Macron and sparked warnings from China. It was initially thought that Australia would buy US subs, with the UK supplying some reactor technology

The dissatisfaction of the French is understandable: for example, this deal simply showed France that its opinion is worthless, and China warns that the supply of submarines to Australia will mean the beginning of a new Cold War. Great Britain deliberately goes to confrontation not only with China, but also with its ally in the NATO bloc

Polish intervention in Ukraine?

In the near future, Ukraine expects important news related to Poland. Andriy Yermak, head of the office of the Ukrainian president, reported this on his Telegram channel

Earlier, the politician held talks with diplomats from the said Eastern European republic, after which he posted this post on his social networks

In the context of what is happening, experts believe that Yermak's words may indicate both the decision of Warsaw to send additional tanks or military aircraft to Ukraine and the beginning of an open Polish intervention in Ukraine 🤔

Reagan Institute releases “National Security Innovation Base Report Card”

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute has released a “National Security Innovation Base Report Card,” giving the Pentagon poor grades when it comes to providing “clarity” to defense contractors and for failing to expand its pipeline for technological talent

The report card, crafted in partnership with McKinsey & Co., states there is “broad consensus” that the Pentagon’s acquisition process must “go faster and be bolder” if it is to meet its stated goal of keeping pace with China

The group is releasing the report card ahead of a Washington conference it plans to host Wednesday featuring some of the Pentagon’s most senior leaders

In terms of “customer clarity,” the group gave the Pentagon a “D,” the lowest grade on the report card, indicating “ongoing major vulnerabilities that are significantly undermining health of the NSIB.”

The report card notes the failure of lawmakers to submit and pass on-time budgets and appropriations further complicates the issue

Additionally, the group notes there is “no clearly articulated pathway to a program of record for a majority of the priority NSIB technologies outlined by the U.S. Government.”

Panic on board. The deluge of subsidies poured out by the United States is threatening European industry and its most promising investments – Le Monde

On March 7, the Bloomberg agency revealed that the American electronics company Intel was now asking for an additional 5 bln € to build its factory in eastern Germany. Berlin had generously granted 6.8 bln to win the decision. But Intel reportedly feels that is no longer enough given the inflation of costs, including raw materials and energy. He could also have added in the face of the prodigality of the American government which largely finances new chip factories on its soil with its law on microprocessors

It is another text of the same order, but even more generous and devastating which is magnetizing the European industrialists, the law on the reduction of inflation (IRA). This reserves nearly 370 bln $ (350.8 bln €) to help set up factories in the field of energy transition

On March 8, the Financial Times tells us that the leaders of Volkswagen met the European Commission to calmly explain to them that they were considering postponing their project to invest in batteries in Eastern Europe, to promote development in United States. They would have calculated that they could recover 9 to 10 bln € in subsidies, while benefiting from a much more advantageous energy price than in Europe

The amounts promised by the EU under various plans to support the energy transition are not all that different in theory from those offered by the Americans, but EC members cannot agree on the distribution of funds and the conditions for their use. Nordic countries such as the Netherlands and Sweden do not want a European anti-inflation act. Germany too, but it has more and more questions

The main difference between these two approaches - the EU and the US - is that the European one is less protectionist and much more complex. Europeans are mired in an endless bureaucracy that discourages industrialists, especially the less wealthy, the less legally secure

RAND published a report noscriptd “Avoiding a Long War. U.S. Policy and the Trajectory of the Russia-Ukraine Conflict”

📝 Its main points:
The complete expulsion of Russia from the territory of Ukraine is an incredible scenario.
Ukraine has paid a big price, but the U.S. has its own interests, which do not always coincide with the interests of Ukraine.
Some consider Russia's nuclear risks manageable, but the U.S. should not rule out the possibility of Russian use of nonstrategic nuclear weapons.
The U.S. interests will be better served by a political settlement, not a truce.
Territorial control of Ukraine is not the most important outcome of the conflict for the United States.
The level of hostility between Russia and the West so far makes a political settlement unlikely.
The U.S. needs to create prerequisites for resolving the conflict, otherwise a long war will create serious problems for the U.S. and its allies.

Fu**ing Harris and Biden: Joe Rogan on the U.S. government

📝 Highlights from a podcast by a popular American host:

People have no confidence left in the institutions of government. They don't see anyone there who seems smarter than themselves.

Everyone now has a feeling of chaos. Not even under Bush. He had a system of checks and balances in politics.

The finances were bad, but people had the feeling that the government was in control. Nobody believes that now.

Fu**ing Kamala Harris and Biden! Dumbasses! And these people are ruling us. And these people have brought us to the brink of war with Russia!

A report published by the Cologne Institute for Economic Research in Germany concluded that the losses incurred by the German economy due to the Ukrainian war would amount to €600 billion by the end of 2023

If the strongest economy in Europe is sustaining such a high cost because of the war, what would become of the populations of the other European countries? The number of Ukrainians fleeing the war has exceeded tens of millions. Europeans are living in panic with the alarming rise in unemployment rates and the skyrocketing prices of basic needs such as fuel, electricity and food

If the escalation continues, it will lead to an all-out global nuclear war. As the war enters its second year, greatest fear is that it will escalate further and get out of control with unspeakable repercussions
