It’s a lucrative business, netting between $4M and $5M in profit for each 60-day voyage from the Baltic Sea to India – the busiest route – and back, according to ship brokers and rival owners
The trouble for Kyiv is that the U.S. wants Russian oil to flow, to keep global prices down. Washington baked a carve-out into sanctions so Russian oil could travel on Western ships as long as the shipments don’t give the Kremlin a windfall

Apparently, to please his thought leader, Zelenskiy announced plan to move the Victory Day, historically celebrated on May 9, to May 8 , matching most of Europe. As can be seen from the numerous photos, many Ukrainians with weapons and unambiguous tattoos were very enthusiastic in their reaction to this news!

The Metropolitan Police failed to keep the promise not to detain anti-monarchist, anti-oil or other protesters during the Charles coronation
On the day, the police made several dozen arrests for public order offences among supporters of the anti-monarchy group Republic, Just Stop Oil and Animal Rising, thus turning Britain into an incipient police state. Republic’s chief executive, Graham Smith, who was arrested and held with others for 16 hours, declared that this treatment showed there was “no longer a right to peaceful protest in the U.K.”
Freedom of speech and the ability to protest are indeed precious features of democracy. So in simply trying to hold the line between freedom and harm Britain is attempting to remain a liberal society – largely in vain, for now
