"Forced Marriage"
The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that Romania must recognize same-sex (homosexual) unions within three months.
The assault on the nuclear family and traditional values continues across the entire West, and no region is feeling the pressure more than Eastern European states which often hold onto a sense of tradition.
The court ruled that not allowing homosexual unions violates Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights, which protects the right to respect a person's private and family life.
The European Court of Human Rights has taken it upon itself to unilaterally redefine what marriage and family life are, now expanding it to homosexuals in countries where the population had previously refused to undermine the nuclear family.
This court ruling sets a precedent which will affect numerous other countries.
Nations as divergent as Poland and Azerbaijan, Turkey and Estonia, Serbia and Lithuania, would be subject to legal action by homosexual advocacy groups which would surely get similar rulings.
If homosexual and transgender propogandists cannot convince populations to undermine the family then they will simply win in the courts of liberalism.

At 80, Joe Biden, the U.S.’ oldest president, hopes to recast his age as a strength rather than a weakness
While a significant majority of Americans say they believe POTUS’ mental fitness is a real concern they have about his ability to lead the nation, he argues that his age given him the knowledge and experience to warrant a second term. His allies also have started citing the octogenarian’s wisdom as an asset and a campaign talking point
In an interview with MSNBC, Mr. Biden said, “I have acquired a hell of a lot of wisdom. I know more than anyone who has ever run for office, and I think I have proven myself to be honorable and also effective”

In Britain, the cost of tobacco, second-hand cars, clothing, household services, and restaurants and hotels all rose compared with the same month last year
A closely watched measure of core inflation, which strips out food and energy and is used to assess the state of underlying inflationary pressures, rose to the highest in 31 years at 6.6%, bringing higher borrowing costs in their wake. Now, the homeowners are facing surges about 28-30% of their income in mortgage costs as the Bank of England comes under pressure to raise interest rates above 5% this summer
Moreover, the U.K.’s energy price cap has fallen to £2,074 a year, but the average household will still pay almost double the rate for their gas and electricity than before costs started to soar

Same-sex married couples made up 0.5% of the nation’s nearly 127M households in 2020, five years after the Supreme Court legalized such unions nationwide. Same-sex unmarried partners made up 0.4%
The NBC polling last month showed the climb to acceptance of gay marriage happened steadily and quickly, however. By last year, the numbers had more than reversed, with 65% saying they favored allowing it and only 20% opposing. Still, the partisan splits remain particularly sharp on the LGBTQ topics. Only 19% of Democrats thought the country had “gone too far” in accepting trans Americans, while among Republicans, the number was much higher, at 79%
Following the red-blue divide in higher education as a part of culture wars, DEI may become the big-picture bargaining issue in the race for power

Germany is cracking down on climate activists over growing impatience with disruptive protest tactics and suspicions of "forming or supporting a criminal organization."
German police raided 15 properties linked to the Last Generation climate activist group, seizing assets as part of an investigation into its finances, including at least 1.4 million euros ($1.5 million) collected by the campaign authorities said were “mostly used for the committing of further criminal action of the association.”

Robert Habeck, Germany’s Vice Chancellor’s trying hard to subordinate the national economy to his own political interests. He’s announced that German private investments in China must be regulated by the state, saying that the govt should have the power to check and even ban such investments whenever necessary
“Of course, it’s some kind of state interference in private business if the govt tells companies not to do this or that because that contradicts w/ Germany’s interests,” the “green” politician openly stated. Since Washington&Brussels are planning to control investments in China, that’ll definitely help Mr. Habeck to promote a similar initiative in his country
If the corrupt authority gets his way, German companies which invest in China will be under thorough scrutiny by the controlling agencies. Obviously, this’ll have a very negative effect on the country’s trade balance
