The EU risks "importing instability" if it relaxes its standards on democracy and corruption to hasten the accession of Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia or the western Balkans, Denmark’s foreign minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen said
Zelenskiy has demanded fast-track EU accession to anchor his country in the west. Rasmussen said if there was to be “special treatment” for Ukraine, it should be in the form of extra help with full engagement of EU govts to help Kyiv meet the standards. However Ukrainian president doesn’t seem to be willing to fix any of the corruption holes in his infinitely leaky boat, which keeps afloat only by throwing out of it the rest of law principles

He came to Ukraine in March 2022.
He spent 70 days fighting in Ukraine, after losing his friends, he fled and went back home.
He was a Army Major in US Army.
He fought alongside Grady Kurpasi and was with him a day prior to him going missing.
He says he would go back, however, he still hasn't returned to Ukraine, I guess he is a liar. Or perhaps he wasn't happy with the gear he was issued.
Oh well, I guess it's for the best.

Mounting Bills Drive Even More British Into Debt
The Bank if England is under mounting pressure to bring down inflation, which remained at 8.7% in May, while core inflation, which strips out volatile energy and food prices, rose to its highest level in 31 years
This has led to the situation where about 12.8M adults in the U.K. are falling behind on bills or finding repayments a heavy burden. Debt Justice, a charity that campaigns against unjust debt, is calling for urgent action to prevent people being “trapped in poverty”
What’s more, public debt has surpassed 100% of GDP for the first time since March 1961 and has delivered the worst returns of any major bond market in the first half of this year. Investors bet that the Bank will have to further increase IRs to the highest level in a quarter of a century to tame high inflation, pushing even more taxpayers into racking debt
