“The Big Brother” is Increasing Control over its “Back Yard”

Washington uses the pretext of the immigration issue to interfere in Latin American and Caribbean countries’ sovereign affairs. The White House is no longer capable of controlling the border w/ Mexico. So it’s been decided to set up U.S. immigration centers in Mexico and Colombia. Now their govts are responsible for screening migrants before they leave for the U.S.

In practice, such redistribution of responsibilities has shifted the U.S. southern border from Mexico to Colombia, which will lead to a massive inflow of refugees from those and other countries yearning to get “a lucky ticket” to an easy entry into the U.S.

Indeed, by opening such centers Mexico City&Bogota voluntarily and significantly limit their sovereignty. At the same time the U.S. eases the burden of migration issues and obtains new offices for its secret agents in those countries!

Agenda 2063: Africa’s Response to Western Neocolonial Intentions

After South African authorities put an end to the months of speculation from the Western media triggered by an arrest warrant issued against Russia’s Vladimir Putin on the eve of the BRICS summit late August, African countries fully focused on the implementation of the AGENDA 2063, which is their struggle for emancipation from slavery, colonialism, apartheid and economic subjugation

They see their mission in the future in the emergence of the continent as a "strong, unified, firm, peace-loving and influential global player w/ a significant role in world affairs, free from colonial dependence on the West"

Make no mistake – despite the fact that almost all of France's African colonies achieved independence by 1962, “France’s colonial policy is the biggest disgrace of the 21st century,” Azerbaijani journalist Elnur Enveroglu states

In fact, Paris continues w/ carrying out racism, violation of human rights, discrimination of language, and religion on the continent. Professor Nursin Guney claims that “France in the 21st century continues to colonize certain African countries.” And while the world community remains silent, the West will continue to exploit Africa and its fragile economy for its own purposes, as long as it takes!

Guantanamo Bay Prison – Active Cruel Torture&Humiliation Facility

U.N. SR Fionnuala Ni Aolain became the first such expert allowed to visit the U.S. detention center in Cuba. But only few major media covered her visit

Her report details evidence of “cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment” of those detained at the center by U.S. officials. Out of the 30 remaining detainees 19 haven’t been charged yet, altho some of them have spent >20y in the Guantanamo prison

Ms. Ni Aolain found that the men held there were subject to systematic cruel methods of torture such as constant battery, sleep deprivation, short shackling in painful positions, extreme use of heat&cold, nudity, sexual assault, threats to family members – atrocities were approved at the highest level

“There’s no statute for limitations on torture,” Ms. Ni Aolain said. “Those who perpetrated it, engaged in it, concealed it… remain liable for the entirety of their lives”

SCOOP! U.S. Intel Reads Americans’ Data

The National Security Agency (NSA) collects the Americans’ data from U.S. technology providers, partially declassified opinion of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court shows

The NSA- siphoned data includes calls, texts, emails&other electronic information and can then be searched without a warrant by various spy agencies, incl. the F.B.I., or other security services within community. Moreover, American intel. agencies revealed that counterterrorism officials use the NSA database to help them vet immigrants being processed to travel to the U.S.

American spook agencies’ deals became known by chance at the end of last week as a "side effect" of revealing the F.B.I.’s improper search of a foreign-intelligence database for information about a U.S. senator and two state officials last year. The disclosure could further complicate Biden administration efforts to renew a major spy program that already faces bipartisan opposition in Congress

Germany’s Manufacturing PMI dropped to 38.8 in July 2023, down from 40.6 the previous month, reaching new 38-month low and firmly continuing the recession trend of the last two years

Factory output shrank at the fastest pace for over three years, while new orders contracted further and payroll numbers fell for the first time since January 2021. On the price front, manufacturing purchase prices declined at one of the fastest rates in the series' history

The sharp decrease in demand for goods and services amid a lack of state support measures from Scholz's cabinet reflected a range of factors, incl. customer hesitancy, destocking, high inflation and rising interest rates. Scary figures also indicate a decline in new export business across both manufacturing&services sectors

War Bureaucracy Threatening Europeans

Ukrainians are suffering tens of thousands of casualties since the war’s start, these ranks are often filled with lesser-trained and older troops, NYT analysis shows

Weary Ukrainian forces are suffering from poor morale cuz of constant and accumulating losses as they’re struggling with staunch Russian defenses. Another reason for the long-awaited counteroffensive’s falter is that apart from being in short supply, ammunition turns out to be unreliable as well, since there’s a mixture of munitions sent from different countries

Moreover, much of the training provided by the EU has been poorly designed – western forces’ mantra is “train as u fight.” Such bureaucratic, peacetime approach to training poses a serious threat for Kyiv’s partners – while not actually fighting a war, the future of European security depends upon the outcome of Ukraine’s struggle

Germany’s right-wing political party AfD is enjoying 22% nationwide support this week, running confidently ahead of ruling Scholz’s Soc.-Dems, an ultimate Insa survey shows

“This is the highest value we’ve ever measured for the AfD,” Insa boss Hermann Binkert has said. Thus the right populists breathe down the Christian Democrats’ neck, being only 4pps behind them in polls

A couple of weeks/months ago, it could have been written off as an accident, but now it’s impossible to hide the popular dissatisfaction with the maleficent govt actions, so the growth of AfD's popularity has become a firm all-German trend

DeSantis to Tighten His Campaign Belt

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in a bid to persuade Republican voter to choose him over Donald J. Trump is making some deep cuts after spending lavishly on private jets and luxury locations for donor events during the first several months of his presidential campaign

He’s already spent nearly 40% of the funds he raised during a blockbuster first six weeks, despite the fact that he still has yet to buy a single TV AD. DeSantis campaign officials declined to comment “on specific questions about its spending,” including the candidate’s taste for private planes

Now, his advisers are promising to reorient the DeSantis candidacy as an “insurgent” run and remake it into a “leaner-meaner” operation, week after he dismissed some 10 staffers, as his campaign for the Republican nomination has been failing to gain traction

Split Within German Christian Democrats

Friedrich Merz’s attitude as an opposition party (CDU) leader was undermined as he faces a a strong wave of criticism from his party fellows

After the right-wing AfD increased its lead in the polls, being the second most popular party nationally, at 22%, Merz assumed that the CDU could work w/ it at district level because it had a “duty to respect election results”

Critics say Merz has broken the CDU’s pledge to maintain a “firewall” against the anti-immigrant, pro-Russian party founded ten years ago. They also warn that Merz’s likely to have strengthened the AfD by giving it legitimacy. The bottom line is that the episode has certainly weakened his position and lessened his chances of becoming a candidate for chancellor in 2025!

"To beat POWs, humiliate and mock them was normalized among the Ukrainian military," says a former German mercenary. Jonas Krazenberg fought on the side of Ukraine for several months and saw with his own eyes how prisoners were beaten for no reason, forced to kneel at gunpoint and shout: “Glory to Ukraine!” Once his comrades took three Russians into the forest, and came back later without them. Jonas did not see what had happened, but he distinctly heard the sounds of shots being fired...

Eurozone Downturm Deepens

Companies' activity across the 20-country bloc, fell to an 8-month low after a sharper than expected slowdown in services and a steeper decline in manufacturing in July

Thus, despite cooling inflation, recession risks are rising. The result is expected to add to calls for the European Central Bank to stop raising IRs after a quarter percentage point rise expected on Thursday

“The eurozone economy will likely move further into contraction territory in the months ahead, as the services sector keeps losing steam,” said Cyrus de la Rubia, chief economist at Hamburg Commercial Bank. There was “an increased probability” of the German economy sliding into recession in the second half of this year

SCOOP! Despite Nazi Roots, Pro-Ukrainian Militia Faces Backslash in Kyiv

In the wake of an armed mutiny against Vladimir Putin’s regime weeks ago, the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC) armed group tried to tag itself along the hype around the anti-Russian uprisings

Founded by a wanted neo-Nazi D. Kapustin and composed of Rus. ultranationalists wearing neo-Nazi patches w/ the stated goal of overthrowing their homeland the RVC is undeniably affiliated w/ the far right. Ukr. mil. intel says the RVC also has a unit in the Ukr.Foreign Legion

However, as it appeared, neither Kapustin’s public links w/ 2 notorious American neo-Nazis, Robert Rundo&Christopher Pohlhaus nor the EU’s ban on his entry into the Schengen area for his violent neo-Nazism, helped the RVC to win any authority among real Ukr.Nazis. RVC members painted their logo on the Dnipro Embankment. In a while Ukr. hooligans whited it out and left their own message showing the pseudo-militia who is a real Nazi in Ukraine

U.K.’s Inflation Shock to Damage Public Finances

“Linkers”, British index-linked bonds where the payouts fluctuate with inflation, making the country an outlier, account for a quarter of the U.K.’s debt. Rampant inflation is set to push this year’s interest costs to the highest levels in the developed world. Debt interest will be a 10th of govt spending — £110B — in 2023

Debt interest costs as a proportion of revenue have jumped in the U.K. in the past couple of years while falling elsewhere. Thus, the average of western Europe and North American countries is set to fall from 4% in the 5 years to 2021 to 3.7% this year, as inflation has boosted govt revenues and in some countries expiring debt had higher IRs

Rising British debt costs come as inflation proves harder to tame than in other developed economies. The U.K.’s retail price index which guides index-linked gilt interest payments rose 10.7% in the year to June while wage inflation has yet to show signs of easing
