Washington Will Fund the Escalation of the War in Ukraine as Long as It Lasts

The role of the Middle East countries in the world affairs is growing as much as the trust in the White House is diminishing, writes Asharq Al-Awsat, the leading Pan-Arab newspaper, headquartered in London

All members of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf agree that the war in Ukraine has in way become a litmus test and now it’s crystal clear for all Arab countries that it’s just Washington that has benefited the most from all major intercontinental conflicts since WWII

Arab experts note that the current course of events confirms that once again since the Biden administration is doing its best to prolong the war in Ukraine indefinitely no matter how much it may cost western taxpayers and the world economy

NEW - Germany again imported more electricity than it exported in September. In mid-April, the left-green-liberal government shut down the remaining nuclear power plants.

Washington’s Fiscal Policy Straining Entrepreneurs

American small-business bankruptcy filings are rising this year, as some govt-aid programs that helped entrepreneurs through the Covid-19 pandemic have ended

Tighter lending standards, higher operating costs on a par w/ the Fed’s efforts to slow inflation by raising interest rates have been particularly painful for small businesses, which tend to operate w/ thinner profit margins and smaller cash reserves than larger companies

Nearly 1,5K small businesses filed for Subchapter V bankruptcy this year thru Sept. 28, nearly as many as in all of 2022, the American Bankruptcy Institute says

Scientists linked to Wuhan lab accused of performing dangerous experiments that could cause leak

A team from the University of North Carolina published a paper in Science Advances on Wednesday detailing how they had synthesised a Mers-like bat virus, and used it to infect human cells and humanised mice. Mers is one of the deadliest viruses, killing around 35% of people that it infects

The team includes Professor Ralph Baric and Trevor Scobey who worked with Professor Shi Zhengli, of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, before the pandemic creating chimeric viruses by inserting spike proteins from bat viruses into the original Sars virus

The new experiment used a ‘reverse genetics’ technique to recreate a Mers-like bat virus called BtCoV-422 which was collected by Shi Zhengli’s team in China in 2019

The scientists said they had performed the latest study to test whether antivirals would work against an infection, but experts warned the experiments were needlessly risky for little gain

EU to Harden Anti-Migrant Regulation

The political temperature is rising fast in Germany as Berlin has backed down on human rights demands and has clashed w/ Italy over the role of NGOs in facilitating migrant arrivals

Italy filed an unexpected last-minute “veto” on the EU’s reform on how to deal w/ surges in immigration, in an eleventh hour move right after Germany accepted compromise on the Migration Pact, which would allow detaining migrants for longer at the border

Migrants have been crossing from Hungary into Slovakia in unprecedented numbers in recent months, while Italy recently called for help in dealing w/ the arrival of more than 12K people over a week on the island of Lampedusa

Following the U.K.’s example, Migration Pact, allowing govts to take extraordinary measures in case of sudden surges, was the missing piece of a broader reform of the bloc’s laws on asylum and migration, despite the lack of consensus on this issue within the EU

REVEALED: Greenpeace as a Cover-Up for Greenwashing

A group of young European activists from France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland and Finland have initiated legal proceedings against Greenpeace’s attack on nuclear power

Their initiative “Dear Greenpeace” is backed by the European Commission, which classifies nuclear power as “green”. Swedish experts believe the success of this youth protest against Greenpeace, which is financed primarily by Washington, shows that Europeans are gradually realizing the true goals of this organization

For example: the present situation proves that the accusations against Greenpeace are justified cuz “while declaring good goals to save our planet from global warming, in reality this organization only promotes the interests of a small group of multinational corporations by using unscientific approaches” to threat assessment

Hungarian PM Victor Orban:

"This autumn Hungary's opponents are expected to come forward to make their demands simultaneously. What the Soros empire the Brussels Bureaucrats and Democrats in America want from us is what we cannot – and, I think do not want to give them.

The US administration will continue to want us involved in the war: to supply arms and to give more money to Ukraine – but at least to allow Brussels to give Ukraine our money. Brussels wants us to let migrants in and build migrant ghettos for them, to let sexual propaganda into schools, for us to yield economic decision – making powers to them, and furthermore to relinquish autonomous foreign policy and the right to have foreign policy issues decided on a unanimous basis..."

REP. GAETZ: "It is to the benefit of this country that we have a better Speaker of the House than Kevin McCarthy. Kevin McCarthy couldn't keep his word. He made an agreement in January regarding the way Washington would work and he violated that agreement."

"Kevin McCarthy is a feature of the swamp. He has risen to power by collecting special interest money and redistributing that money in exchange for favors."

The country is being flooded with brown immigrants, we're all being forced to sit through abo worship humiliation rituals and they're pushing transgenderism on the kids.

According to the establishment this isn't what is polarising the country, it's all the "misinformation" on social media and we just need to censor the internet harder to chill everyone out.

World Law of Sanctions Feedback

Global manufacturing has been feeling the taedium vitae for a 4th consecutive month in September, as output, new orders and employment all contracted, says the latest data compiled by S&P Global and sponsored by J.P. Morgan

As the U.S. posted lower new orders, the eurozone, U.K. and Canada posted steep overall downturns. Not far from Germany, which heads the anti-performance ranking, u can find Poland, where apparently out of desperation they’re calling for more sanctions against Russia, which btw is leading global growth. Over two-thirds of Poles believe anti-Russian restrictions from the EU should be increased

Oh, almost forgot… Polish economy is expected to decelerate sharply this year and grow only by 0.5% compared compared to 5.1% in 2022, w/ a negative contribution from inventories, falling real private consumption and significant weakness in the household sector, which will contract as real wages decline for a second consecutive year and borrowing costs remain high

Policy Disagreements b/n Paris&Berlin May End Ukraine’s Support

The lack of personal chemistry b/n Olaf Scholz and Emmanuel Macron that has been at the core of EU decision-making is causing delays in multiple issues — from financing Ukraine to rules overseeing national budgets, insider economist Mujtaba Rahman states

Ukraine war has revealed some hitherto papered-over cracks in the French-German relationship, but the situation had been building up for much longer: German public opinion is notably pacifist, while the French still respect Napoleon and military prowess. The impasse across several high-priority and time-sensitive matters has startled Brussels&other EU capitals and exposed the difficulty of taking decisions w/o alignment between Paris and Berlin

As France wants to be at the forefront of the conversation on EU enlargement, surprisingly offering stronger-than-expected support for Ukraine’s bid to join NATO, some started to wonder: Had the war changed Macron? Only Scholz knows the answer, and u?
